Welcome to our third chapter of restaurants with outdoor seating in downtown Salem, Oregon! After exploring an already-impressive list of restaurants in Part 1 and Part 2, we’re excited to bring you even more options for your next downtown dining adventure. These eight restaurants continue to showcase the flavors and inviting atmospheres that make Salem’s foodie scene so special.

W. Wallace

W. Wallace provides a dynamic dining and drinking experience in a stylish, relaxed atmosphere. Known for their expertly crafted cocktails and intentional menu, W. Wallace is committed to using fresh, high-quality, in-season ingredients. The exceptional service and inviting ambiance—complete with outdoor seating under warm string lights—make W. Wallace a perfect spot for a night out or a casual gathering.

Amadeus Restaurant

Amadeus Restaurant, a family-owned contemporary American eatery, is celebrating 28 years in Salem this year. As a favorite among locals, the restaurant strives to exceed expectations in food and service. Menu highlights include the bruschetta pizza, chicken schnitzel, and family-recipe tiramisu. The restaurant also takes reservations and features a few bistro tables for outdoor seating. Come in for happy hour from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM!

Happy Bibimbap House

Happy Bibimbap House is known for their authentic Korean cuisine with a menu that includes popular dishes like Korean BBQ, bulgogi, and—you guessed it—bibimbap. Experience the burst of flavor from their delicious dishes and house-made kimchi. For those who enjoy dining outdoors, Happy Bibimbap House provides picnic tables and greenery for a lovely al fresco experience.

Palominos Restaurant & Bar (Closed August 2024)

Palominos Restaurant & Bar presents a mouthwatering menu featuring items like fresh salads, succulent steaks, and exquisite caviar, while the bar team offers excellent wine and cocktail pairings. With weekly specials and discounted bourbon, whiskey, and wine nights, Palominos is a great spot for casual fine dining downtown. Their outdoor patio extends the experience outside. Reservations are required for dinner.

Sisters Irish Bistro

Sisters Irish Bistro offers an authentic Irish dining experience filled with the tastes, sounds, and traditions of Ireland. This family-friendly bistro welcomes kids and features regular live music and entertainment. Reservations are required on Fridays and Saturdays. While most of the entertainment can be found indoors, enjoying a pint outside at their picnic tables is a great option on a nice night.

Valiant the Sandwich

Valiant the Sandwich is known for their bold and unique sandwiches. Their menu features signature items like the Coxstolsoy Cheesesteak, Cubano But Like Tampa, Like a Reuben, and the mouthwatering Big Val SmashBurger. Menu items are subject to change, with addition of special non-menu items that you better try before they sell out! With a welcoming atmosphere, passionate team, and a little artistic flair, Valiant promises big flavor in every visit.

Precious Pizza

Precious Pizza just opened a brick-and-mortar location in the Reed Opera House after operating as a pop-up for the last few years. They offer small batch Grandma-style pan pizza made with fresh ingredients and cooked in the highest quality olive oil. You can order full pies as well as pizza by the slice. In addition to classic flavors like cheese and pepperoni, they also create specialty pies made with ingredients like figs, peaches, and even elote. As one of the area’s newest eateries, they’re ready to make a statement in the heart of Salem.
