The Easy Otter

We stopped by the Easy Otter on our way through Salem in search of brunch. Great Google ratings brought us in, and we did not regret it. The staff was extra nice, and it just got better from there. I cannot help myself when it comes to chicken and waffles, and Ned's Five Alarm with Nashville hot juicy thighs and a crispy waffle is simply ridiculous. On the sweet side, we loved the Good God, Lemon! beignets. A perfect sweet and savory southern comfort brunch. Don't miss it.

My friends and I visited The Easy Otter for the first time last night, and we had a great experience. The food was not only delicious, but the decor was incredibly CUTE!! My chicken sandwich was outstanding, and we made a great choice with the fried pickles as an appetizer—everyone at the table loved them. I also have to mention the staff's excellent taste in music; it made me so happy to listen to punk and ska throughout our meal . I loved the skanking rude girl and rude boy otters on the menu board :) I highly recommend this place to my friends and family, and I will definitely be back! I wanted to try the beignets but I was far too full so I’ll make sure to save room in my stomach for our next visit.

Nothing but good things to say about Easy Otter. Ever since she moved from the farmers market to the Beehive Station she has thrived in her food and menu options and now she has a brick and mortar and the menu only got better! The beignets are the best we’ve ever had! So much flavor in the sauce! Every chicken sandwich is full of so much flavor, not to mention the size of them! And we tried the Mac and Cheese today and it was like everything else full of flavor! Flavor is very important in food and when we find a place that hits it on every menu item you always come back! Lindsay has made this small business into a family! This was my boyfriend and I’s first date, I always send him her food on his birthday. It’s a special place to us! We love the food.
