Great company to work with
Replaced our furnace in our home. From beginning to end, they were great. Not only were they the best value, but they were always early, they were communicative, and even explained every step of the way. I also appreciated that they didn't try to upsell me unnecessarily. I mentioned the next best furnace, and he explained why it wouldn't be necessary or cost-effective. Each person was friendly, and made us feel at ease knowing it would be done right. Even the electrician who came out afterward, from an unrelated company, had great things to say about them.

No recap of what needs to be done. I explained that service was to be completed by 11:45am of that day. My stayed as long as he could as not to be late for his work.. No call or door tag that day.. next morning I get a call at 8:32, 18 second dead air mess. I returned call. the person on phone replied " we where unable to make it yesterday and need to reschedule your call. I said not going to happen, no show or call is unacceptable, gentleman said "then you'll be seeking service else where," I guess they have an abundance of work. Lets see you post this.....

Great Service wonderful people
I had to write you a note and tell you how wonderful our experience was with Salem Heating & Sheet Metal. From the beginning to the end of this job. I have to say I was dreading just having to get a new furnace and air conditioner. From the very first time we met Kyle with all of his enthusiasm and salesmanship we were sold. Then to Ed he was so great at mapping everything out so organized so impressed with him. Then we get to Josh Stone and Mike Cordova those two guys had a challenging job to do. I can not express enough these guys worked from the time they showed up to when they left we had three days of this. I was so impressed with these guys I don't even think they took a lunch. When Ed called and said he would have to send two other guys to finish to be honest I thought oh no I hope they are as good. Although they were not here but tops two hrs on Monday Mikael Sloane and Jakob Miller did a great job of getting it done. Now I have to get to Scott Lineburger what a great person he is. He made sure I understood everything about the Costco rebate and our Energy Tax Credit. <br />

Outstanding product, salesman, and service
Salem Heating is completely customer driven and one of the very few businesses that I've experienced who is so dedicated to their word. I am converting from oil to gas and started with a furnace; i will use this company to slowly but surely convert all my home heating/air/water/and appliances to gas. I wish there were more stars available.

Asked the salesman from Salem Heating for a quote and after the quote, he dropped the ball with little follow-up. To their credit the rest of the team Scott, Wayne and Ed followed up with attention to our every need and concern. Days of installation were handled expertly by the two installers Mike and Josh. Not only were they knowledgeable, but they exhibited extraordinary customer service. This was a real turn around situation where the team saved the day!

Everyone from sales to design to installers were friendly, and communicated well with me about the entire process. They made me feel like they were excited about what they were installing and noted the great energy efficiency we would experience soon. Salem Heating and Sheet Metal installed air conditioning, removed our 20 year old furnace and installed a new energy efficient furnace. We were very pleased with the service that we received from the day we had an estimate to the final installation. The team at Salem Heating and Sheet Metal were courteous, informative, professional and timely. We love having our air conditioning and wish we would not have waited so long. The last two weeks temperatures have been in the upper 80s and 90s and our house has stayed cool and comfortable. My family and I would definitely recommend Salem Heating and Sheet Metal.<br />

Great service from the initial visit, for the best equipment and proper BTU required to heat and cool our home to the complete install. The two Salem Heating and Sheet Metal hands did a very professional job and made what could have been a tough job look easier than one could expect. Adding air conditioning required the furnace to be moved about a foot in order to have room for adding the needed coil for adding air conditioning. The installation looks good and works well.

Very pleased with the gentlemen who came and replaced our furnace and installed our water heater for us. they were very professional and efficient. Everything was done in a timely manner and and they left everything neat and clean. would highly recommend Salem Heating and will gladly use them again.

Outstanding service and product. Everyone we dealt with from first call to bid to crew was friendly and professional. The workmanship of ducting and installation is impressive. They installed a gas furnace, plumbed a gas range and worked with us diligently to figure out a tricky duct run to the second floor that ended up very minimally invasive. The crew was punctual,easy to have in our home, and cleaned very well after themselves. We are already thinking of when to have them back for the water heater and AC. Very, very happy.

Kyle, our initial contact, was thorough, professional, and was able to assess our needs easily, He took the time to explain the entire process to us, from estimate to final inspection, giving us a a sense of confidence in the company.<br />

Once the bid was approved, they sent their technician out for a pre-installation review. This was a valuable service as it eliminated the delays on install day that can occur if something unepected comes up. Again, our sense of confidence in Salem Heating was firmly set by this experience.<br />

On install day, a crew of technicians reported to our house on time as promised, and immediate went to work. Their workmanship was nothing short of masterful, the completed system far surpassed the quality of our original system, and the house is heating more evenly than before. We were very pleased with our experience with Salem Heating when buying a new furnace. Scott was most helpful in explaining things to us when we were deciding which furnace to get and David and Mike who came to install the furnace were a delight to work with. They were very professional and efficient but also very plesant young men . We look forward to our continuing relationship with Salem Heating.
Disappointed!
We called Wednesay 11-27-13 because our furnace had gone out and needed someon to come take a look at it. We were told to leave a voicemail for Jason in the service depratment. We never recieved a phone call back. Follwing the Thanksgiving weekend we called again to schedule a time for someone to come take a look at our furnace. We were told that someone would be available Monday 12-9-13 between 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Nobody showed up. We called and were told to leave a voicemail for Jason. We were dumped into the voicemail to find out that the mailbox is full, and the call was ended without being able to leave a message or speak with a person. We called back just to find out if we were on the schedule. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes Jason called my cell phone (not the line I was waiting on hold for) to inform me we are on the schdule for Tuesday. What? Horrible customer service and we will be enduring another night of freezing temperatures.

Furnace and Air Conditioner Replacement
We were extremely happy with the work performed by Ed and Mike when they replaced our 1989 Lennox furnace and air conditioning units with new Lennox high efficiency units. Included in the work was installation of dampers so that we can now control the amount of air into our lower level and force more air into the upper levels which has always been a problem with insufficient air volume causing it to be very warm during the summers. This duo should be considered perfectionists as they went out of their way to make our installation better than what they encountered when they began the project. Safety in the installation work was very much on their minds as they worked through the steps. We're hoping to see an improvement in consumption of both electricity and natural gas as the result of this project.
