On December 22 – 23 from 5 – 8 PM, this spectacular drive-thru holiday light experience is set to dazzle visitors with its array of twinkling lights and festive decorations. Immerse yourself in a world of shimmering lights and festive scenes, all from the comfort of your vehicle. Enjoy a special visit from Santa Claus, perfect for capturing holiday memories. Warm up with complimentary hot cocoa and keep an eye out for the mischievous Grinch. This event is free, with donations appreciated to support the park. Ideal for families, friends, and holiday light enthusiasts!

Holiday Lights Display at Riverfront Park
Visit the beautiful Riverfront Park along the Willamette River for a captivating walk-through light display throughout the holiday season. Park nearby, grab a hot beverage from a nearby local coffee shop, and stroll through the dazzling lights. This is a free event for the community put on by the City of Salem, and will be up through December 31!

Keizer Miracle of Lights
The Keizer Miracle of Lights event is a cherished annual tradition in the Gubser neighborhood of Keizer, Oregon. For over 30 years, this neighborhood has been lighting up their homes to celebrate the holiday season. Running until December 26, this event is a delightful display of community spirit and holiday cheer. The drive-thru (or walk-through) display is free and open to the public, inviting everyone to enjoy the festive lights and decorations that transform the area into a winter wonderland.
The lights display starts at the corner of Lockhaven and 14th Ave. More importantly, the event supports a local organization, with monetary and non-perishable food donations going to the Marion Polk Food Share to provide meals for families, children, and seniors in need.

Glow – Holiday Light Display in Independence
The City of Independence is hosting the “Glow – Holiday Light Display” at Independence Riverview Park. This event kicked off in late November and will be up until January 2024, offering ample opportunity for visitors to experience the holiday lights. This walk-through holiday display is open to the public and is an excellent opportunity for those in and around Salem to enjoy a beautiful night amongst the lights.

Magic of Lights at the Oregon State Fairgrounds and Expo Center
The Magic of Lights at the Oregon State Fairgrounds and Expo Center is a unique and dazzling drive-through holiday lights experience. “Magic at the Mill,” held at the Willamette Heritage Center from December 19 to 23, 2023, is a wonderful seasonal festival that promises to illuminate winter nights with thousands of twinkling lights—and local history! This event is not just a display of lights but also a celebration of the Mid-Willamette Valley. The festival features a variety of attractions including live music, vendors, children’s activities, demonstrations, museum tours, living history, Santa visits, and model trains. Tickets are available for purchase in advance.

Silverton Christmas Market
The Silverton Christmas Market at the Oregon Garden Resort offers a magical holiday experience for all ages. This annual event is a wonderland of over one million lights along the garden paths, complemented by a German Christmas Market.
