Fall Fest 2025 at Fordyce Farm
Fordyce Farm is celebrating the season with their annual Fall Fest, running all October long! Families can enjoy a variety of FREE weekday activities including a hay fort, indoor hay maze, playground, and more. The pumpkin patch has no admission fee, and activities like the corn maze ($5.50/person, 5 & under free), U-pick apples, and pumpkin pricing by the pound make for an affordable fall outing. Weekends feature all weekday activities plus hayrides, food trucks, and special attractions like Balloon Art (on select Sundays). For thrill-seekers, the Haunted Corn Maze takes over Friday and Saturday nights from 7:00–9:30 PM (Oct. 3–25, weather permitting; not on Halloween) for $16 per person.
The farm store is also open daily with fall treats, cider, and more.

LifeSource – Fall Food Fair
LifeSource Natural Foods is throwing it back to the ’90s for their annual Fall Food Fair & Customer Appreciation Day! On Saturday, October 4th, enjoy 20% off all regular-price purchases all day long in celebration of their birthday. The event will feature free samples, a free veggie BBQ, live music from the Gusto Brothers, prize giveaways, local vendors, and even a “Wheel of Fun.”

Indoor Winter Market at Wavra Farms
Wavra Farms is kicking off their Indoor Winter Market season on Saturday, October 4th! Every Saturday through March 14th, the farm’s greenhouses will transform into a bustling farmers market featuring 45+ rotating vendors offering handmade, homegrown, and locally raised goods. It’s a great way to support local and enjoy local artisan goods no matter the weather.

Stomp the Harvest!
Croft Vineyards is inviting community members to Stomp the Harvest for an afternoon of old-fashioned grape stomping, wine, food, and live music at their South Salem tasting room. Guests can roll up their pants, rinse their feet, and enjoy a joyful harvest tradition. Tickets include a stomping session, a glass of wine (or juice for kids), live music, photo access, and entry into the optional Fastest Juice Maker Contest. This unique family-friendly event is full of tradition and plenty of laughs!

Evensong Concert – Canticles of Saint Francis
St. Paul’s Music Guild presents pianist Ian Scarfe in a reflective and nature-inspired concert titled Canticles of Saint Francis. This program explores themes from Saint Francis’ famous writings through works by Grieg, Liszt, Chopin, Messiaen, Beach, and more. The performance follows a brief 30-minute Evensong service and is open to the public.
