SamaZama Performs
Experience the enchanting sounds of the SamaZama Koto/Cello Duo at the Salem Public Library. SamaZama blends the Japanese koto (played by Masumi Timson) with the cello (played by Joseph Harchanko) creating a fusion of traditional Japanese, tango, jazz, blues, and classical music. Seating is first-come, first-served.

Nature Journaling for All Ages
Join Marion County 4-H Oregon for a hands-on Nature Journaling experience at Ankeny Hill Nature Center. This family-friendly event offers site exploration, arts and crafts, and interactive journaling activities. Parents or guardians must accompany children, and attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather.

Chili Cook-Off: Benefit Event for Veterans
Bring your best chili to Timber Town Harley-Davidson’s Chili Cook-Off, where contestants can compete in categories like Traditional Red, Homestyle, Most Unique, and Spiciest. The winner of Best All-Around Chili will receive a Vance & Hines Slip-On Exhaust! Attendees can enjoy a bowl for $8 (each bowl) and vote for their favorite. All proceeds support the Oregon Veterans Motorcycle Association.
Veterans stopping by will also receive a complimentary gift (while supplies last).
