Browse a wide selection of affordable fiction, mystery, and audiovisual items at the Friends of Salem Public Library’s June book sale. The sale supports library programs and special projects with all proceeds going back to the Salem Public Library.

Make Music Salem Countdown Dance Party
Get your groove on at the final Countdown Event for Make Music Salem, hosted by The Moon 105.5 FM, Taproot Lounge & Cafe, and DJ42. This high-energy dance party will feature music from the ’70s through today, with themed hours for each decade. All ages are welcome until 10:00 PM. Donations are encouraged and go to Make Music Salem!

Dueling Pianos: British Invasion
The Dueling Hobbits return to Salem’s Historic Grand Theatre for a one-night tribute to the unforgettable hits of the British Invasion. Audiences can expect a fast-paced evening of rock ‘n’ roll, clever banter, and plenty of piano-fueled singalongs featuring music from The Beatles, Queen, Elton John, and more. All ages.

TWO Wildlife Walks at Minto-Brown Park
Join David Lanoie and Friends of Minto-Brown Island Park for a special day of two nature walks. Both walks follow the same scenic route, with chances to spot deer, bald eagles, owls, and maybe even a bobcat. The morning walk begins at 7:00 AM and the evening walk starts at 7:00 PM. Meet at parking lot #3 and gather at the gazebo.

Kittens at The Fussy Duck
Friends of Felines and The Fussy Duck are teaming up for a fun afternoon of shopping and kitten adoptions! Stop by to meet adorable, adoptable kittens and maybe find your newest family member. All kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and more. Adoption applications can be completed in advance at sfof.org.
