The Sumpter Annual Neighborhood Garage Sale returns to the Sumpter area of SE Salem for a popular weekend of treasure hunting. Shoppers can explore around 100 participating homes within about one square mile (see boundaries below). Check the virtual map for daily details and featured items.

The 2026 World Beat Festival brings Oregon’s largest multicultural celebration back to Salem’s Riverfront Park, highlighting the cultures of Pacific Islanders (including Samoa, Chuuk, Hawaii, and more). This electric weekend invites the community to enjoy cultural traditions, foods, crafts, demonstrations, children’s activities, parades, dragon boat racing, live performances, and Friday night fire dancing at the Gerry Frank: Salem Rotary Amphitheater.

Free Church invites families with children from infants through 12th grade to their 2nd Annual Family Carnival in Salem.
