4th of July weekend is here, and Salem is buzzing with great local events to celebrate the holiday as well as enjoy the summer weekend. With hot weather in the forecast, be sure to stay hydrated and take precautions while enjoying firework-related festivities!
4th of July Spectacular featuring Radical Revolution and McKayla Marie
Join the 4th of July fun at the Oregon State Fairgrounds during the 4th of July Spectacular. Admission to the fairgrounds is FREE, and so is the fireworks show at 10 PM. Ticketed and VIP events including the VIP Party Zone, Bounce n’ Battle Fun Zone, and Demolition Derby bring additional fun throughout the day.
Bring a blanket or chairs for the fireworks show!

July 4th Patriotic Tribute and Post Game Fireworks Show
Take yourself and your family out to the ball game at Volcanoes Stadium’s 17th annual Patriotic Tribute! Watch the Volcanoes take on the Campesinos, honor those who have served, and enjoy an incredible post-game fireworks show.

Independence Days Celebration
Make the short drive over to Independence, Oregon to take part in their Independence Days Celebration, a local tradition planned by the community since 1902. This three-day event includes a grand parade from Monmouth to Independence, live entertainment, fantastic family-friendly activities, great vendors, rubber ducky derby in the river, fireworks, and MORE.

Bauman’s Backyard BBQ
Enjoy summer Saturdays at Bauman’s Backyard BBQs! From 11 AM – 3 PM, come by Bauman’s Farm and Garden for a selection of food, cider, beer, and other treats while playing lawn games, feeding the animals, and playing on the playground. Be sure to say “hi” to Charlie the pig!
The Backyard is for paying customers only. You may be asked to show your receipt as proof of purchase.

Great White Wine Experience
Taste the magic of white wine at the 9th Annual Great White Wine Experience, hosted by Left Coast Estate. Over two days, you’ll have the chance to meet 24 wineries showcasing the best white wines from the Willamette Valley region. The event will take place in Left Coast’s beautiful oak savanna, accompanied by live music, food trucks, and gorgeous July weather. Tickets include goodies like a logo wine glass, logo wine bag, and 10 tasting tickets for each day. All wineries will have bottles available for purchase.

Into the Woods Summer Music Series
Melt into the music of summer at Into the Woods’ summer music series. Into the Woods is Willamette Valley Vineyards’ RV park and campground located next to the Estate in the Salem Hills. This week’s musical guest is Rain Ezra and the featured food truck is Chaparro’s Latin Food.
Concert tickets are $25 per person or $15 for owners and club members. Each ticket includes a glass of wine as well as a $10 wine credit. If you are staying at the park, you get admission to the concert for no extra charge.

On Any Sundae is turning 8! Each year, they hold a community celebration to celebrate another great season. Join in on the fun and enjoy $2 shave ice and ice cream, $1 cotton candy, affordable smash burgers, yard games, balloon art, button-making, live music, photo booth, fan-favorite characters in costume, and more. 🍦

Pints for Pups
Raise a glass 4 ALL MUTTKIND at Ratchet Brewery’s “Pints for Pups” fundraising event. 4AMK will be bringing adoptable dogs to the event who are very excited to meet you! $1 from every pint or glass of wine will go towards the rescue. You can also donate your bottles and cans for 4AMK to recycle. Have we mentioned there will be dogs?
