Free Drive-Through Shredding and E-Waste Event
Clear out the clutter responsibly at this free drive-thru shredding and electronics recycling event, hosted by Marion County Environmental Services, Garten Services, and the City of Keizer. Bring up to two boxes of documents and up to seven approved electronic devices. The event will feature mobile shredding for confidential papers and a full list of acceptable electronics can be viewed here. Enter via Chemawa Rd NE (one-way traffic only).

Canterbury Renaissance Faire
Step back in time as the Canterbury Renaissance Faire returns to the woodlands of Silverton for two magical weekends. Enjoy knights, jesters, artisan vendors, live performances, and more as the Faire brings 16th-century merriment to life. Gates are open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Paid on-site parking is $10, with free shuttle parking available at Silverton High School and Silverton Middle School.

Ironman 70.3 Oregon
The Ironman 70.3 Oregon event is taking place this weekend! This sold-out event will draw major crowds to downtown Salem and Riverfront Park, so watch for road closures, athletes, pedestrians, and traffic. The race will take place in portions of Minto-Brown Island Park, extend to Ankeny Wildlife Refuge (for the cycling portion), and end in Riverfront Park.
