The YF&R Communications Boot Camp is a three-day training focused on helping young farmers and ranchers from Oregon and Washington sharpen their communication and leadership skills. Through educational sessions, peer collaboration, and industry networking, attendees will explore how to better share their agricultural stories, engage the public, and grow as leaders in their communities and businesses. Online registration is closed, but onsite registration will be available.

Reading Buddies
The Salem Public Library is inviting elementary-aged children to build reading confidence with Reading Buddies! This supportive program pairs young readers with trained teen volunteers for 30-minute sessions of shared reading and fun literacy activities. Its goal is to help develop enjoyment and fluency in reading.
Books can be brought from home or selected from an on-site collection. First-come, first-served.
