2025 Child Abuse Prevention Month Car Parade & Community Gathering
Marion County Child Abuse Prevention invites the community to “Paint the Town Blue” with its annual Car Parade and Community Gathering. The morning begins at the Oregon State Fairgrounds, where participants can decorate their vehicles with provided car paint and pinwheels. The parade departs at 8:15 AM and concludes at the Salem Police Department, followed by a short Community Gathering with remarks from local organizations committed to child abuse prevention.

“The Colors of Spring” Juried Art Show
Artists in Action presents the sixth annual spring juried art show, The Colors of Spring, hosted at Elsinore Framing & Fine Art Gallery. Local artists were challenged to creatively interpret the themes of spring and its vibrant colors, resulting in a diverse and engaging collection of artwork. The exhibit opens during the First Friday Art Walk, with an opening night reception and awards ceremony judged by local artist Margo McCafferty. The show will remain on display through April 30th.
