International Talk Like a Pirate Day
Ahoy, Albany! The Historic Carousel & Museum is setting sail for a full day of pirate-themed fun in celebration of International Talk Like a Pirate Day. Dress like a pirate to earn a free ride, enjoy a performance by the Hocus Pokie Dancers, and feast on themed treats like the Jolly Roger Root Beer Float, Mermaid Punch, and the Salty Dog. This swashbuckling event is open to all ages!

LBCC Hall of Fame Weekend
Linn-Benton Community College invites the community to celebrate its 2025 Hall of Fame Weekend, kicking off Friday afternoon with a golf outing at Mallard Creek Golf Course. On Saturday evening, the Class of 2025 will be formally inducted during a special ceremony at the LB Activities Center. Hosted by LBCC Roadrunner Athletics, this two-day event honors past athletic achievements and supports the future of the program.

West & South Albany High School Golf Fundraiser Tournament
Support local student athletes at the 2025 Fundraiser Golf Tournament, hosted by The Golf Club of Oregon. This 2-person scramble takes place on Saturday morning and benefits the golf programs at West and South Albany High Schools. Entry is $65 per person, and proceeds go directly to supporting the teams.
