Celebrate Halloween in Downtown Albany with a fun-filled morning of trick-or-treating and a festive costume contest! On Saturday, stop by participating Albany Downtown Association member businesses—marked with orange and black balloons—for sweet treats between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Capture your costume at the Xtreme Graphix photo station at the 1st Avenue Parklet for a chance to win great prizes in the online costume contest. Get ready for a spooky, high-energy double-header as Sick Town Roller Derby takes on the Rose City Wreckers at this year’s Fright Night! Held at Linn County Fair & Expo, the event features two thrilling bouts, food, drinks, a 50/50 charity raffle, and a costume contest with prizes. Doors open at 2:30 PM with games at 3:30 and 6:00 PM. Trunk-or-Treat at Oak Grove Elementary
Northside Church is hosting a fun-filled afternoon at Oak Grove Elementary with its annual Trunk-or-Treat event! Families can enjoy creatively decorated cars, bounce around in indoor bounce houses, and collect plenty of candy—all for FREE. In support of the Albany Police Department, donations of new items like toys, coloring books, and children’s headphones will be collected. A great community celebration with a sweet cause!
