Maker’ Meetup: Junk Journals
The Chapter House invites the community to unplug and get creative during its bi-monthly Makers’ Meetup series. This hands-on evening will feature the art of junk journaling, giving attendees the chance to craft a personalized journal perfect for capturing summer memories and travels. Admission is $7 per person, and children ages 10 and under are free with the purchase of an adult ticket.

Calapooia Brewing welcomes collectors and craft beer enthusiasts for a fun-filled Beer Collectibles Swap Meet hosted by the Cascade Breweriana Association. Guests can browse, buy, sell, and trade a wide variety of beer memorabilia, including vintage signs, tap handles, glasses, coasters, cans, trays, labels, and more. The ShowBiz Salem Craft Fair and Vendor Marketplace returns to the Linn County Fair & Expo Center for a weekend filled with local makers, handmade goods, and unique small businesses. Shoppers can explore a wide variety of vendors inside the Willamette Exhibit Hall while enjoying free admission and parking. Vendor spaces are still available for those interested in showcasing their products and connecting with the community.

Summer Hikes with Love Yoga Studio
Love Yoga Studio is bringing back its community summer hikes, inviting locals to get outside, connect, and explore the beauty of the Pacific Northwest together. These casual group hikes are free to join and are designed for a fun, welcoming outdoor experience. Most hikes are planned within an hour of the studio and feature approachable distances and elevation gains. Participants must RSVP to join and can either carpool or meet at the trailhead.

Walking Tour of Oregon Electric Railway Depot & Hackleman District
Explore a piece of Albany history during this guided walking tour led by Lonna Capaci, Liz Rapp, and Matt Bennett. Guests will tour the beautifully restored 1912 Oregon Electric Railway Depot, now home to Sybaris, before heading out on a walk through the historic Hackleman District. Attendees will also enjoy a special treat during the experience. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, and reservations are required through the Albany Visitors Association at 541-928-0911. The 2 p.m. tour is currently full, with limited space still available for the 3:30 p.m. tour.
