The Big Pickup: Albany’s Annual Cleanup Day
Hosted by the City of Albany, this annual cleanup event invites residents to clear out household trash, dispose of car batteries and tires, and support a local food drive. Trash loads cost $5 with a coupon or $20 without (valid ID required for Albany residents). Additional fees apply for tire disposal. Republic Services will also hold its Recycle Roundup nearby from 9am–2pm.

Billy Boyd Annual Memorial Run
The Willamette VDub Club invites Volkswagen enthusiasts to join their annual memorial cruise in honor of Bill Boyd. The group will depart from Cork’s Old Fashioned Donuts at 11am for a scenic drive to Foster Reservoir, where a BBQ will follow. Burgers and hotdogs will be provided—participants are encouraged to bring their favorite side dish and RSVP to help with planning. All VW vehicles are welcome for this 60-mile round-trip cruise.
