Linn Benton Teen/Adult Idol Competition
Local performers from Albany, Corvallis, Halsey, Lebanon, Philomath, and Sweet Home will take the stage at the Russell Tripp Performance Center for the Linn Benton Teen/Adult Idol Competition. Guests are invited to cheer on talented singers as they compete for cash prizes during this exciting community showcase. The competition continues weekly as contestants advance toward the finale.

Kids Fishing Derby Volunteer Day
Community members are invited to lend a hand at the Kids Fishing Derby at Timber Linn Park in Albany. Hosted with support from Maddox’s Tackle Kaddies, the event is seeking volunteers to help young anglers with baiting hooks, casting lines, measuring fish, and removing hooks throughout the morning. Families, fishing enthusiasts, and anyone looking to support a fun community event are encouraged to join in.

Albany Farmers’ Market
The Albany Farmers’ Market returns to downtown Albany’s riverfront for another season of fresh flavors and community connection. As Oregon’s oldest continuously operated open-air farmers’ market, this longtime tradition features locally grown produce, artisan foods, baked goods, and handcrafted products from regional vendors. Families can also check out the Power of Produce Club, an interactive program designed to help kids ages 5–12 learn about healthy eating and local agriculture.

The Big Pick-Up
The Albany Police Department is hosting The Big Pick-Up, a community low-cost dump day designed to help residents clean up unwanted household items and reduce illegal dumping. Participants can bring large items, furniture, and extra trash for responsible disposal at an affordable rate. The event will also collect non-perishable food donations for Fish of Albany’s annual food drive, helping support neighbors in need throughout the community.

Sick Town Roller Derby MAYhem Bout
Get ready for an action-packed evening of roller derby at the Linn County Expo Center as Sick Town Roller Derby hosts its MAYhem Bout doubleheader. The event kicks off with a mashup game at 3:30 p.m., followed by the featured matchup between Sick Town and Divergent Roller Derby at 6 p.m. Guests can enjoy food and drinks throughout the event while cheering on these talented teams in a high-energy atmosphere.

Royal Rumble Roast Battle
Royal Bar & Grill is bringing the laughs to Albany with the debut of the Royal Rumble Roast Battle. The evening features 10 comedians battling through five rounds of sharp wit, quick comebacks, and crowd-pleasing humor as judges decide who comes out on top. Guests are also invited to stay for the open mic following the competition, where aspiring and experienced comics alike can take the stage for their own five-minute set. Food and drinks will be available throughout the night.
