Spring Break at the Library
The Albany Public Library invites families to enjoy Spring Break fun in the Children’s Room from March 25–29. Both library locations will offer hands-on crafting activities, a spring-themed scavenger hunt, puzzles, games, and a bulletin board contest. It’s a great way for kids to celebrate their time off from school in a fun and welcoming environment.

Free Ben Palmer Comedy Show
The Student Leadership Council at Linn-Benton Community College invites the public to a night of laughs at the Tripp Theatre in Takena Hall. Headlining is Ben Palmer—also known as PalmerTrolls—famous for his satirical and viral social media comedy. The show will also feature opening act James Blame and MC Simon Kaufman. While admission is free, donations to the LBCC Food Insecurity Fund are encouraged. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and the show starts at 7:00 p.m. Seating is limited, so reserve your spot in advance.

Linn County Flea Market
Linn County’s largest indoor flea market returns to the Linn County Fairgrounds with over 85 vendors offering antiques, collectibles, vintage treasures, and one-of-a-kind finds. Guests can enjoy browsing unique items, food trucks, face painting, and fun for the whole family. Early admission runs from 8:00–9:00 a.m. for $10 (cash only), while regular admission from 9:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. is $5. Children 12 and under get in free, and parking is complimentary.

Vietnam Veterans Welcome Home Dinner
VFW Post 584 and its Auxiliary invite the community to honor and celebrate Vietnam Veterans with an evening of remembrance and gratitude. The event begins with a social hour at 4:00 p.m., followed by a ceremony at 5:00 p.m. to welcome home and recognize those who served. A complimentary dinner of Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, bread, and dessert will be served. Vietnam Veterans eat free; donations are welcome from others. A special gift will be given to each Vietnam Veteran in attendance.

Mounted Shooting Practice with Oregon Mounted Six Shooters
The Oregon Mounted Six Shooters invite riders to join their practice session at the Linn County Fair & Expo Center. No prior experience with mounted shooting is required—riders with horses new to gunfire are welcome and encouraged to attend. Participants should have intermediate to advanced horsemanship skills. The cost is $20 per horse and $20 for 30 rounds of ammunition.
