The Restoration Rooms Grand Opening

Greater Tuna
Albany Civic Theater invites the community to enjoy Greater Tuna, a hilarious comedy by Jaston Williams, Ed Howard, and Joe Sears, directed by Lance Duddlesten. Juneteenth Freedom Quilt Project
The Albany Public Library is partnering with KIN Cultivate and teaching artist Janique Crenshaw for a collaborative Juneteenth art experience. Community members are invited to create a square for a Freedom Quilt that celebrates Black resilience and explores the many meanings of freedom. This welcoming, hands-on project encourages creativity, reflection, and community connection while honoring the significance of Juneteenth.

Happy 250th Birthday, America – A Celebration of American Composers
The Willamette Valley Symphony invites the community to celebrate America’s rich musical legacy with an evening featuring works by some of the nation’s most celebrated composers, including Aaron Copland, Leonard Bernstein, Duke Ellington, and more. This special performance also marks the conclusion of the symphony’s season. Guests are encouraged to arrive 45 minutes early for a pre-concert talk with Artistic Director Lance Inouye.
