Heritage Day
Mennonite Village invites the Albany community to its annual Heritage Day celebration, a family-friendly event featuring more than 40 artisan and local vendors, live entertainment, horse-drawn carriage rides, and classic lawn games. Held at the Mennonite Village Pavilion, this longtime tradition offers a welcoming opportunity to explore the campus, connect with local makers, and enjoy a fun-filled morning with neighbors and friends.

The Black Sheep Gathering 2026
The 52nd Annual Black Sheep Gathering returns to the Linn County Expo Center for a three-day celebration of natural-colored sheep, fiber animals, and fiber arts. Visitors can browse a bustling marketplace featuring more than 100 vendors offering handcrafted yarns, fiber supplies, tools, and finished goods from artisans across the Willamette Valley and beyond. The event also includes workshops, educational presentations, demonstrations, and a Fiber Arts Show highlighting the creativity and craftsmanship of the fiber arts community. On Saturday evening, guests can enjoy a community potluck, live music, and the popular Spinners’ Lead fashion showcase, where fiber artists model garments made from the fleece of participating animals.

Relay For Life of Linn/Benton Counties
The Relay For Life of Linn/Benton Counties invites the community to come together in support of the fight against cancer at Timber-Linn Park. The event will celebrate local cancer survivors with a special survivor lap and complimentary lunch while also honoring those who have lost their lives to cancer and those currently battling the disease. Friends, families, and supporters are encouraged to attend, participate as a team, and cheer on local fundraising efforts that help make a difference in the fight against cancer.
