Carson Carnival
Carson is bringing the fun to Albany with its Carson Carnival at Carson Albany Chevron! This festive event features carnival games, vendor booths with samples and swag, exciting raffle prizes, and a giveaway for a Camp Chef grill. Guests can enjoy a free lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., plus receive a 20¢ per gallon fuel discount during the celebration. Sponsored by Carson and partners including Rogue, Swire Coca-Cola, Harbor Wholesale, BuzzBallz, 2 Towns Ciderhouse, and others.

One Year of Sweetness – SugarHeroes Anniversary Celebration
SugarHeroes Candy Bar is celebrating its first birthday with a full day of fun and sweet surprises during the Craft Brew Smackdown! As the official check-in location, SugarHeroes is hosting Chiefs Brew House and 2 Towns’ non-alcoholic ciders from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., plus offering games, giveaways, and activities throughout the day. Spend $10 or more and spin the prize wheel, guess the candy jar count to win a $20 gift card, vote on the next candy to be stocked, and enjoy mini face painting and a visit from the Sips & Giggles Lemonade Stand. Peely’s Summer School Supply Drive – Drop-Off Day
Support local educators during Peely’s Summer School Supply Drive! The Albany Public Schools Foundation will be outside Walmart Albany collecting new, unopened school supplies to benefit GAPS teachers through Peely’s Teacher Supply House. Stop by their table to pick up a shopping list of most-needed items, shop inside, and drop off your donations on your way out. Every contribution helps stock classrooms for the new school year!

46th Annual Covered Bridge Bicycle Tour
The 2025 Covered Bridge Bicycle Tour returns for its 46th year, offering cyclists a scenic ride through the quiet back roads of Linn County. Taking place on Sunday, this one-day event features multiple route options—23, 44, 68, 85, or 100 miles—highlighting the natural beauty of Oregon’s central Willamette Valley. Riders of all experience levels are welcome to participate and can look forward to rolling hills, wide-open farmland, and a refreshing root beer float at the finish line. Hosted by the Mid-Valley Bicycle Club, a portion of the proceeds supports local Bicycle Education and Safety programs.
