Northwest Art & Air Festival
Albany’s signature summer celebration returns to Timber-Linn Memorial Park with three days of hot air balloons, live music, art, food, and family fun. Each morning kicks off with a stunning balloon launch at 6:15 AM (weather permitting), and Friday night features the magical Night Glow balloon display. Visitors can explore art vendors, a car show, a family zone, and a beer and wine garden. Don’t miss KC and The Sunshine Band live on the Main Stage Saturday night at 8:00 PM!

Historic 1929 Hangar Open House
Step into aviation history during the NW Art & Air Festival with a visit to Albany’s Historic 1929 Hangar. Located at Oregon’s oldest aviation building, the Albany Air Museum will be open for tours featuring exhibits, volunteer meet-and-greets, and insights into the city’s aviation legacy. Just a short walk from the main festival activities, this family-friendly open house is a unique and educational stop for all ages.

4th Fridays at Springhill Cellars
Celebrate the final 4th Friday of the season at Springhill Cellars Winery with a relaxing evening of live jazz, wine, local brews, and Southern comfort food from Nick’s Soul Food truck. Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic or enjoy a house cheese plate while listening to smooth tunes from Just Lonna and Just the Band. This popular summer tradition is the perfect way to wind down your week in a scenic outdoor setting.

August Arts: Albany Youth Orchestra Performance
As part of the Albany Public Library Foundation’s August Arts series, families are invited to enjoy a special live performance by the Albany Youth Orchestra. Book Lab: Neecy and Nay Nay and the Green Thumbs
Join KinCultivate for a free, interactive afternoon of reading and creativity at the Albany Public Library. Author Simone “Neecy” Dankenbring will lead families through an imaginative session inspired by her book Neecy and Nay Nay and the Green Thumbs. Kids can enjoy garden-themed activity stations, storytelling, crafts, and more. Recommended for elementary-age children, but all are welcome to attend and meet the author.
