Linn County Kennel Club Show
Dog lovers are invited to the Linn County Expo Center for a full day of exciting canine competition. Watch skilled handlers and talented dogs compete in conformation events, including NOHS and 4–6 month puppy classes, plus agility trials hosted by K-9 Sports. Admission is free, making it a fun and family-friendly outing. Please note: only dogs entered in the competition are permitted on show grounds.

Makers’ Meetups
The Chapter House invites the community to “create more and scroll less” during its bi-monthly Makers’ Meetup. On February 20, guests will craft an Alma Thomas–inspired mosaic in a welcoming, hands-on environment. It’s a relaxing way to connect, unwind, and explore your creativity. Kids ages 10 and under attend free with one adult purchase.

LINK UP VETS: Bowling Night
Veterans and their immediate families are invited to Lakeshore Lanes for an evening of bowling, pizza, and soda. Hosted by LINK UP VETS, this free two-hour event offers a relaxed setting to build community and enjoy time together. Lanes are limited, so advance registration is encouraged.

Live Model Drawing/Painting
Local artisan Hilda Rueda welcomes artists of all skill levels to her Downtown Albany studio for a live-model drawing and painting session. This three-hour session offers a focused creative space to study the human form with a dressed model as reference. Gulf War Veteran Dinner
VFW Post 584 Auxiliary invites the community to honor Gulf War Veterans on the 35th anniversary of the end of the conflict. The evening begins with a social hour featuring memorabilia, followed by a ceremony recognizing veterans’ service and a lasagna dinner with all the fixings. Gulf War Veterans attend free and will receive a special gift. Cash donations are suggested for guests. RSVP is requested by emailing [email protected].
