The Albany Civic Theater kicks off its December performances with Barefoot in the Park, a charming romantic comedy by Neil Simon. Directed by Becky Roth, the story follows newlyweds Corie and Paul Bratter as they navigate the ups and downs of married life in their quirky Manhattan apartment. Christmas Barn Preview Night & Seasonal Opening
Ropp Family Farm invites the community to kick off the season with their special Preview Night of the 2025 Christmas Barn. On Thursday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., guests can enjoy an exclusive shopping hour filled with handmade goods, warm drinks, homemade treats, and entry into festive door prize drawings—all for just $10.
The Christmas Barn then opens to the public (free entry) on Fridays and Saturdays through December 13. Stop by to browse unique handcrafted gifts, home décor, quilts, baked goods, and more. Fresh soups, breads, and pies will be served daily for lunch.

Albany Toy Run
Deluxe Brewing and Sinister Distilling are hosting the Albany Toy Run, a community-driven event bringing joy to local children this holiday season. Motorcycle riders and classic car enthusiasts will kick things off with a festive parade, starting at the Walmart Supercenter at 11:00 a.m. and ending at the brewery. From 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., families are invited to Deluxe Brewing to meet Santa and his elves, where children can select a gift to take home. Guests are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toy donations.
