Starting at the Calapooia Brewery in Albany, Oregon, this .3K (yes, that’s point three kilometers) event is perfect for below-average athletes and weekend warriors alike. The festivities kick off with the beer garden opening at 11:00 AM, followed by the “race” at noon. Participants can enjoy a beer from Calapooia and Deluxe both before and after the run, with a carb-loading station and other refreshments also available. This event is pet-friendly, so bring along your two and four-legged friends for a day of leisurely fun!

NUTCRACKER AUDITIONS 2024
Legacy Ballet, in partnership with the Albany Performing Arts Center, invites local dancers ages 6 and up to audition for their annual production of “The Nutcracker.” Auditions will be held on September 14th, 2024, at Legacy Ballet located at 104 Main St SE, Albany, OR. The auditions are scheduled as follows: 1:00 PM for ages 6-8, 2:00 PM for ages 9-11, 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM for ages 11 and older, and 5:00 PM for adults 18 and over, with specific sessions for pointe work. Get ready for the adrenaline-pumping Gate Drop Showdown 2.0! This thrilling three-day event at Albany MX features intense racing with 32 classes in a 2 moto format, welcoming both youth and adult riders. With every moto counting for points, competitors are in for high stakes and fierce competition. Last year saw over 550 entries and thousands of spectators. What will this year bring?
