Did someone say free BBQ?! The Keizer Police Department is inviting everyone in the community to an exciting end-of-summer event that’s sure to be a blast! On August 31st, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the Keizer Civic Center will transform into a fun-filled venue for a day of activities, good food, and community bonding.
This isn’t your average BBQ. Besides the delicious food, there’s something for everyone—whether you’re young or just young at heart. Get ready to tackle an obstacle course, enjoy some face painting, or craft your own keychain at the make-your-own station. Kids and families will love getting an up-close look at the police vehicles, S.W.A.T., and Search and Rescue teams, making it a day of learning and fun.
But that’s not all! If you’re interested in learning how to protect yourself, a self-defense class will be available, offering practical tips and techniques.
The best part? It’s all free, and no registration is required. Just show up, enjoy the festivities, and make the most of the last days of summer with your community.
The Keizer Police Department is excited to host this event and looks forward to seeing everyone there. It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with your local officers, enjoy some BBQ, and have a blast with your neighbors. Don’t miss out!
