Downtown Albany is getting ready for a day of games, laughter, and community fun as the Historic Carousel & Museum hosts its 9th annual Carnival at the Carousel on Saturday, August 15.
Running from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the popular annual event brings a classic carnival atmosphere right to 1st Avenue. Families can enjoy skill games, fun prizes, treats, and plenty of rides on Albany’s iconic hand-carved carousel animals.
Affordable Fun for the Whole Family
Designed to give local families a budget-friendly day out, individual game tickets are just $0.50 each, with most game booths costing only 1 to 2 tickets to play.
For maximum savings, the Carousel is offering Family Fun Packs available for pre-purchase online or directly in the gift shop ahead of the event:

Grand Finale for “A Carousel Quest”
August 15 also marks the final day of the Carousel’s summer-long “A Carousel Quest” pass program. Families who have been collecting stamps on their quest passes throughout the summer have until the end of the carnival to turn their completed cards into the gift shop for a chance to win a 1-year Painted Pony Membership for unlimited rides!
