As the 5A state playoffs approach, the West Albany Bulldogs have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with. With a season defined by consistency and grit, the Bulldogs have charged through the Mid-Willamette Conference, amassing a staggering 15-game winning streak.
Following their recent dominant 85–58 victory over Lebanon, West Albany’s record now stands at an impressive 20–3 overall. Perhaps most impressively, they remain undefeated in conference play (15–0), a testament to the team’s depth and focus during one of the most competitive stretches in recent program history.

A Season of Dominance
Currently ranked #3 in the OSAA 5A State Rankings, the Bulldogs have made a habit of “leaving no doubt” on the court. During this 15-game run, the team has outpaced opponents with an elite transition game and a high-pressure defense that has led to 11 victories by 20 points or more.
The community has fully rallied behind this squad, turning every home game into a “must-watch” event. That collective energy has fueled a “team-first” culture where every player on the roster has contributed to the undefeated conference run.
Looking Toward the Postseason
With the regular season winding down, the Bulldogs are now shifting their focus toward the state tournament. As the #3 team in the state, West Albany is positioned for a high seed in the upcoming playoff brackets. If they can maintain the chemistry and momentum that sparked this 15-game streak, a deep run at the state title is well within reach.
