As spring approaches, the City of Albany is preparing for Camp Albany Spring Break Day Camp 2026. Designed to turn a week out of school into a week of discovery, the camp offers a vibrant mix of activities that keep local children active, social, and inspired.
What’s in Store for Campers?
With a low staff-to-child ratio, Camp Albany ensures a high-quality experience for every child. This year’s curriculum balances high-energy play with thoughtful exploration, including:
- STEAM Projects: Science, technology, engineering, art, and math challenges that spark curiosity.
- Hands-on Games: Interactive group play that fosters creativity and teamwork.
- Social Connection: A safe, supervised environment where campers can make new friends and develop social skills.
The Fun4All Scholarship: Access for Every Family
The City of Albany believes that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in recreation. To support this mission, the Fun4All scholarship program offers financial assistance to qualifying households (generally those qualifying for SNAP, TANF, or the Oregon Health Plan).
For the 2026 season, the scholarship terms for Camp Albany are as follows:
- Coverage: Approved scholarships cover 50% of the program fee.
- Annual Cap: Each eligible family member can receive up to $100.00 in scholarship funds per calendar year.
- Eligibility: Assistance is based on federal poverty guidelines and household size.
