Celebrate Independence Day weekend with a public reading of the Declaration of Independence on the steps of the Linn County Courthouse, held as part of the nation’s 250th anniversary commemoration. Community members are invited to gather for this free event and reflect on the historic document that helped shape the United States. Those interested in exploring its lasting impact can also register for the companion discussion, “250 Years Later: The Declaration of Independence in 2026,” presented by Braver Angels Mid-Willamette Valley Alliance and Linn-Benton Community College on July 9.

Gallery Calapooia Artist Reception
Gallery Calapooia invites the community to its monthly First Friday Artist Reception featuring two talented local artists. This month’s showcase highlights John Mikkleson’s intricate laser-engraved woodwork and Melissa Babcock Saylor’s whimsical paper-cut collages. Guests can enjoy complimentary wine and refreshments while exploring the gallery, meeting the artists, and viewing the exhibit, which runs from June 30 through July 25.

Car enthusiasts are invited to bring their classic cars, hot rods, motorcycles, or favorite rides to enjoy an evening of community, craft beverages, and great food. Guests can relax with Deluxe Brewing beers, Sinister Distilling cocktails, local cider and wine, and food from the Deluxe Food Cart while checking out the lineup of unique vehicles. The event is family and pet-friendly, with both indoor and outdoor seating available.

4th of July Albany Fireworks Show
Celebrate Independence Day with Albany’s annual Fourth of July Fireworks Show, presented by the City of Albany, the City of Millersburg, and Linn County. The spectacular display begins at dusk near the Linn County Fair & Expo and Timber Linn Park. Free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and the fireworks can be viewed from many locations within a 3 to 5-mile radius, depending on weather and visibility.

Lebanon’s 4th of July Celebration
Celebrate Independence Day at Cheadle Lake Park with Lebanon’s Fourth of July Celebration. Hosted by the nonprofit Lebanon’s Fourth of July Celebration, this year’s event marks America’s 250th anniversary with a spectacular fireworks show accompanied by a high-energy live concert presented by The Oaks of Lebanon. A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association, supporting research, awareness, and families affected by Alzheimer’s.

Froggy’s Blues Jam at Calapooia Brewing
