It is the news every local food lover has been waiting for: the Albany Saturday Market officially returns for the 2026 season this weekend!
Starting Saturday, April 18, Albany’s newly revamped Waterfront will come alive with the sights and smells of Oregon’s oldest continuously operated open-air farmers’ market. Whether you are looking for the season’s first greens, artisanal breads, or a handcrafted gift, the market at Water & Ferry is the place to be.

What’s New at the Waterfront
The market continues to call the beautiful Albany Waterfront home. This central location offers a perfect weekend atmosphere where residents can walk, bike, or shop along the river.
- When: Every Saturday, April 18 through November 21
- Time: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Where: Water Ave. & Ferry St. (Street plaza and parking lot)
Power of Produce (PoP) Club for Kids
One of the market’s most popular programs is back! The PoP Club is a free program for children ages 4-12. Each week, participating kids can engage in hands-on educational activities and receive a $2 voucher to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables. It’s a fantastic way to teach the next generation about healthy eating and supporting local agriculture.
Shopping Made Easy: Currencies & Accessibility
The Albany Saturday Market is committed to making fresh food accessible to everyone.
- SNAP & Double Up Food Bucks: Bring your EBT card to the market booth. The market matches SNAP up to $20 per day with Double Up Food Bucks, giving you extra buying power for fresh produce.
- Debit & Credit: Don’t have cash? Most vendors accept cards, or you can exchange your plastic for wooden market tokens at the info booth.
- Parking: Free parking is available in the raised lot south of the market, on surrounding streets, and at the Two Rivers Market lot on 4th and Ferry.
Bringing Your Furry Friends
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the market, provided they are on a short leash and kept away from food stalls. If you’re bringing a pet, remember to check the pavement temperature. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!
