What a great pleasure to deal with Marty Svoboda in the service department.. I needed some warranty work done and everything that was mentioned that needs some attention was completed when I picked up my R/V. He kept me abreast of time line of approximate completion of the work that was needed because of parts that had to be ordered and their delivery dates to Rick's. Kudos to Marty.
Jeff handheld problems I was having with a pop-up I purchased at Ricks and went way beyond normal service, Ricky the tech put in new parts and did a better job than is done at factory. Great place to do business! I have traveled cross country to California, Key West, and back in my pop-up. Thier campers hold up and they stand behind them.
We had problems with the sway bar system for our Jayco travel trailer. A big shout out to Marty Svoboda who from the first phone call until the system was fixed gave us personal attention, and guided us through until the end. Thanks Marty!
I have to say, when you buy a new RV at some places, that's where things end, at the sale. I have heard a lot of horror stories from other campers about the problems they encounter when repairs need to be done on their RV, so we tried to choose a dealership that had a good reputation for excellent service when we decided to purchase a new RV, and lets face it, all RV's are going to have problems that need to be repaired. Since our purchase at Rick's RV in Joliet, I cannot say enough good things about the absolute great service we have had. They do what they say they will do and the mechanics that work on the RV's are experienced and great with these repairs. When they make a repair, it's done better than the factory. We have had a great experience with Rick's RV in every way possible. They are all friendly, courteous and always willing to help in any way they can. I am so glad we decided to buy from Rick's RV and very highly recommend anyone who is looking to buy a new or used camper, to buy at Rick's RV in Joliet. You simply will NOT beat their terrific service department, period!
Joe and the entire staff at Rick's was awesome. There were no kind of pressure technique used at all, there only goal was for us to be extremely happy with the product as well as the sale, at the best price possible. They are very knowledgeable about the products and can explain the pros and cons for what you are looking for. This was by far the best experience I have ever had. Thanks Rick's RV!
Been shopping for a pop up online for a while that fits our budget. Found few but too hesitant to go look at them because of fear from too much pressure from a sales person. Checked Rick's website and reviews and decided to give it a try. Surely, it did not disappoint us. Met Paul an hour before closing, showed us what we wanted to seeand answered our questions. Definitely that was the most pleasant and stress-free visit. No pressure whatsoever. Gerry in the service department was superb! He demonstrated and showed us how to operate our camper with his full knowledge and patience, especially Us who are first time owner with a boatload of questions. Can see ourselves coming back in the future and do business with them again.
I needed the annual wheel bearing repack. The staff at Rick's was very informative and helpful. Rick's facilities reflect their commitment to a quality organization. Ken, took good care of this customer.
We went in with a tough sell due to having bought a 2015 travel trailer and now wanting to trade in for a 5th wheel Jayco Eagle. The dealings were through Joe, mainly by phone. Joe gave us a tour by using face time. We ended up buying the Jayco. Our 1st night out camping, I struggled with the auto leveling. I called Joe and again, through face timing, he helped me out. The staff at Rick's RV are very energetic and tend to really make their jobs enjoyable and make the customer feel very welcomed. Can't be happier with the service I have received from Joe and the service staff at Rick's. Of course nobody wants to have issues with products that you purchase, but when you do it good to know that as a customer, you will be taken care of. Joe has always been very quick to respond to any question or issue that I may have. It's not unlikely for me to receive a text just to see how we are doing.
Follow up on some miner service and it's always a great experience. This time Marty and Karen worked together and took care of me!!! Thanks again
This is the second Pop up I have purchased from Ricks. The sales and service here is unbelievable. Marty and Nick in service are two of the best.
We went in 2008 to look for a used travel trailer and instead thay made us an offer on a new one. Sence then thay have done 85 percent of the service work and one insurance claim on our j flight. Best purchase we have ever made. Unfortunately thay don't provide me with any rv service any more sence I am now a jayco factory service tech in Middlebury. However I do make the two hour trip for their truck accessories and rv accessories and to just a friendly hello. Would buy another from them and do it all over again. Top notch family
Wish i could have choosen all the people that have heped us, Brian, Jeff, Mike, Karen, etc everyone was very knowledgeable and always there to help. I would never even consider buying anywhere else but here. Not only did we make a great deal but after our new camper was in a tornado they did all the repairs needed and more.

I don't know how to give any better review than I have previously done or seen! We had had odd issues with our Starcraft, but when it is one of the biggest TT Starcraft makes, loaded with all the amenities, you are going to see issues come up. Every time Rick's employees take that big pain the the you-know-what, and turns it into something less than an inconvenience. They always work with me, have constructive suggestions, stay in touch about the latest development, and always have me leaving like my best friend just took care of me. Costs are always reasonable, and most of the time the work is done under the extended warranty (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED WHEN BUYING A BIG RV!). i guess my only complaint is that there is nothing to complain about!!
Scheduled timing was perfect. The communication with the problem and results were perfect. Very friendly when I dropped off and picked up the camper. Didn't rush me, sat and listened to all my questions.
We have had three Jayco campers in the past. We recently traveled two hours to Rick's RV to purchase a new Jayco. The trip was well worth it and will continue to only shop at Rick's RV n the future because of the excellent customer service we received from Nick and Jim in sales and Gerry in service. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a camper.
We have bought 2 Jayco travel trailers at Ricks rv, everyone has been great both times. Service department is also outstanding, wouldn't think of going anywhere else.
BRIAN SOLD US OUR 31UL PRECEPT LAST YEAR. WE HAVE HAD CONTACT WITH SEVERAL OF THE SERVICE STAFF INCLUDING CHRIS AND JEFF. CHRIS HELPED US TO GET SERVICE WHEN WE WERE CAMPED IN FLORIDA LAST WINTER. WHENEVER WE STOP AT THE DEALERSHIP WE FEEL LIKE FAMILY. EVERYONE AT THE DEALERSHIP IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS TAKE THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THINGS WITHOUT FEELING RUSHED.
