Rick’s service department was terrific after purchase in April 2019 (Tech - Darryl) and also during our first return visit for warranty work in November. Diane (service writer) and Pat (Tech) did a thorough and quick turn around once all parts were received from manufacturer(s). Diane kept us up to date on where our unit was in the process and what the next steps would be. They completed everything that was requested and were a pleasure to work with.
Purchase & Service
I purchased a Jayco Travel trailer back in Oct. of 2019 from Paul @ Ricks RV Chicago. Paul in sales and the finance officer that attended us were extremely helpful and hassle free . A couple months went by and with the RV being our 1st we had multiple trouble shooing and standard operational questions from week 1. All our questions and concerns were addressed and resolve successfully by the service dept. A big shot out and thank you for Diane and the Tech Jeremie for being awesome

Excellent Buying and Installation Experience
I recently purchased a Ranch Lid for my Silverado, during the purchase Brian was excellent explaining the options available and time frame for delivery since it was painted to match my truck. Excellent communication throughout the entire process, I also purchased Swing-away Cases for under the lid. I installed the cases myself prior to the lid’s arrival. The installation by Nick was professional and quality workmanship. I could not be more pleased with the whole experience. Highly recommend this dealership.

Great service
Although we should not need another new RV for many years, We would go back to Ricks for sure. From the sales side with Joe Farkas to the financing with Jim Freeland to all of the service group, especially Marty Svoboda, the follow up and warranty work was outstanding. Never a question, they always have the customers back.

Dwayne was excellent in walking us through the demo of our travel trailer we purchased. He was patient and thorough with every detail of the process.
Worth the drive!
I bought a new White Hawk travel trailer at Rick's. Like anything it needed a few things fixed. Diane and Service Tech Pat were very helpful. I could have purchased this trailer a lot closer to home but I was impressed with the whole operation here. Worth the hour and a half drive!
New Fiberglass Tonneau Cover
I contacted Bryan Niedermeyer regarding a ARE tonneau cover for my truck. I have a unique bed liner that has intergraded tool boxes. Bryan contacted ARE manufacturer design department and sent them pictures of my bed liner to review for accurate fit for my truck. He went above and beyond to reassure me the tonneau cover would fit with no obstructions. The installation process was perfect as well, I only have the mechanics initials (JF) on my receipt but he should be mentioned as well. The installation was perfect, it took about an 1.1/2 hours my appointment was at 11:00 and my truck was in the shop being worked on at 11:00 and was promptly done at 12:30 to perfection. Thanks Bryan, mechanic JF and Ricks RV for a job well done!!!
good service visit
Thank you Marty, Ricky and Tom. We had our first service visit for two issues on a new Jayco and a winterizing request. The work was explained in advance, performed as promised and faster than we expected. We also appreciate the care Ricks takes to safely help hitch and unhitch the trailer. Thank you for a job well done.
Terrible
If I could leave 0 stars I would. Me and my husband bought a used travel trailer back in June. We told them at Rick's that we where planning on moving to Tennessee and living out of our trailer for a year and a half but we wouldn't be leaving until mid August. Well time came and we made our way down to Tn and on our very first night we had a huge puddle in front of the bathroom and the cabinet closest to the bathroom in the kitchen. From where the puddle was we thought it was coming from the tub. We arrived on a saturday afternoon and as soon as the weekend was over we called out a mobile RV repairman who came out and found that we had a pipe underneath our stove going from the sink in the kitchen to the grey tank that was completely disconnected! There was water all over wires down there and all of the bases of our wooden cabinets on that side of the trailer where destroyed as well as all of our insulation underneath the camper and our flooring. We couldn't see or access this pipe without getting out a drill and removing a peice of wood. We then contact Rick's and ask to speak with the owner which we never once got to speak to and we had to deal with Marty who was of absolutely no help to us. They refused to pay to repair the damages which where obviously there fault for not doing a thorough check before they handed the trailer over to us. In the words of Marty directly to our wonderful repair man "well what do they expect us to do about this?" I expect you to fix your mistakes and make things right as a business. Now that we are out of state we are out of sight out of mind and I think that is absolutely terrible and a horrible way to run a business. It even got to the point of them not even returning our phone calls! I have let all of my friends and family know to never do business with them.
Bearing Service
Had our 1987 Coleman camper bearings serviced. Both the service writer, Diane, and the technician, Nick, did the work on the schedule we needed. Much thanks for always being there.
Outstanding Service
I had several repairs necessary on my Eagle HT 306 and a short time frame to complete them before my next camping trip. I want to commend Diane in Service and Ricky the technician who did an outstanding job to schedule and complete all the necessary repairs in a professional manner and on time so as not to delay our trip. New truck topper
We met with Bryan Niedermeyer for a topper for our F350 Dually. Byran sure knows his stuff. He assisted us through the buying process,and we ordered a very nice topper. It was delivered as promised,and installed the next day. The service tech,Joe did a good job on the install. He was knowledgeable about the aluminum body on our truck,and installed the wiring accordingly. Can't go wrong with this hometown,family run business.

My husband and I were upset about some issues with our RV. However, when we took our RV in for service we were treated with respect and courteousness. Our RV issues were well taken care of more than expected. We would recommend Rick's RV to our friends and family. The service and tech staff made sure that my husband and I left as satisfied customers.

We purchased our 2018 Jayco in Jan.2018. We had some bad problems
when traveling with it. When we returned home, we took it to Rick's RV to be fixed or replaced. That was when the first time we met Diane Norton. She was spectacular & informative about the problems & explained in detail how our unit would be cared for. The TV antenna had actually blown off the top of the Jayco when we were traveling & service tech Ricky handled all 6 repairs very well from that trip. On our next trip with our camper came up with 5 more repairs & was handled perfectly by Diane & service tech Pat. We highly recommend purchasing your RV from RICK's RV CENTER, this was our second new camper purchased because we went to a larger one with a slideout.
Last minute service
After bringing my MH home after a damage claim I had found a couple minor issues still needing attention. Debbie got me in a couple days later knowing I was leaving for a trip in a few days. These issues and another one unrelated we’re all taken care of by John while I waited a short time. Nothing but the best customer service once again. Thank you!
Nice work
I really appreciate the work Tom Podlin did on my 2019 Jayco Redhawk. I had some warranty work that needed to be done. Tom did this work with precision and a good eye for detail. I feel that things are now better than new. Thank you Tom.
