TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
We were promised things and not one of them was received when they promised. The people are unprofessional and don't care about the customer. It was a very frustrating experience. The clean-up and few maintenance things in/on the trailer was shoddy (my 3 year old could have done a better job). They hooked up the 30ft trailer to our truck and didn't tell us that we had the wrong hitch and stabilizer bars so could only go 50km/hour down the highway as it was swaying all over the place. We took it to a trailer service place in Calgary and they told us that the rv dealership should have told us.
Don't waste your time.
Me and my wife purchased a Coleman trailer in 2014 from the western RV country dealership in Grand Prairie. At first we were very impressed, we were pushed into covering our trailer in the highest extended warranty package they offered, which at the time seemed like our best hope at keeping our trailer covered in all instances. From complete interior and exterior extended warranty should anything happen, we were told even the smallest stain on the carpet or tear in the leather it would be fixed or replaced. Complete scam, we've had outside trim falloff, a tear in the vinyl off our slide just from opening it and closing it, in the interior we have had countless things just fall off from shoddy craftsmanship, the first time we filled our water tank, a hose was cracked and it leaked all over, just recently we had a leak in the roof, we were told that's not their problem, that since the time that we had bought the camper they have "Hired" new staff and those things that were covered when we bought it are no longer listed under that package so we had to fix and repair all of these damages ourselves. That if we had a problem with that then "we should try to take them to court". I am completely disgusted by everything we have dealt with by western RV Country and will not be recommending them. Ever. In fact I will do my best to deter anyone who has them in mind.
Perfect Service
Thank you Kevin and Mark for a perfekt deal with my new 5thwheeler. Hans
Unprofessional bullies
Service is filled with unprofessional staff that lack knowledge on products they service, don't do the job they are paid to do and expect the customer to be happy with it. They gang up on customers with extreme rudeness as they have no respect for customer service. I'm sure they will not allow this to be posted as they seem to delete any other truthful negative feedback they receive.
Total Rip Off
Do your job properly after having my trailer for 2 weeks. Love how you can reapply the pro pack (paint and leather protection) without even touching the trailer. Our trailer wasn't touched yet you guys submitted to First Canadian that you did = greasy. The trailer is still dusty and even has spider webs in the back...... the couch and the chairs inside the trailer are still dirty, i left them dirty to intentionally catch you not doing your job properly. Nice to know after spending 35 thousand on a trailer and 1700 on a protection package you guys are just scamming people.
Thank you for your wonderful service.
Disappointed
I am not sure if the staff is at fault or the manufacture or both. I brought our RV in for its first 2 year check-up. This was mainly for the protective coating. We had a couple of other issues. The outside kitchen door had what appeared to be rust on the bottom inside edge. The awning did not close properly, on the front bracket. And one tires was showing cracks on the side wall. Long story short, on the kitchen door we were told to "pound sand" (expression). It was rust and there was nothing they could do? The awning, I guess needed new material and the tire needed a new tire and rim. The material was replaced. The tire and rim were still on order from the factory. We could not wait any longer. Our first long vacation with the trailer was planned for the beginning of June. The tire was just, eventually , replaced with a tire from a local tire shop. This was fine by me. We phoned at the beginning of March to book it in. We were told to have it there for April 21. We did not get it back until May 28, with a dead battery. Disappointed. We charged the battery and went on our trip. The battery would not hold a charge and it had to be replaced on our trip. Very disappointed. Looking at other options, next time. Do not recommend Western RV.
I will definitely recommend you
Jayce was extremely helpful he didn't push us like some other dealers did. He seemed very knowledgeable about their product. and when we couldn't find one in his lot he helped find one in a different location. The service people did a great job getting the trailer ready for us. if you are looking for a RV I would highly recommend Western Rv Country.
Roof Still Leaking Since New and After Repair To Which Was To Fix The Problem
First of all we owned a Travel Air 25.5ft for over a decade with no leaks. We were so excited at the 2015 RV Show in Edmonton to purchase a New 26' Maple Country Trailer. We picked our New Trailer up in the spring and took it out to our Lake lot, the first rain fall of the season water was pouring into the front bedroom soaking the Queen size bed, cupboards etc. We were not happy that this new RV had this kind of a problem the first rain fall, but Western RV did what was right, took the trailer and said they fixed the problem. Well this spring we go out to open up the trailer and right away I could smell a musty smell but didn't think much about it thinking it was from the previous leak and needed to be aired out, I opened up the front compartment from the outside to get something and the news paper I had in there was soaked with water, so I went back into the trailer to look around and saw that the finished paneling beside the bed had de laminated and a brownish water stain on the floor. My wife Deb called Western RV to tell them the trailer is still leaking from somewhere and she got the run around about how it's not covered and it's our responsibility? My wife claims the man in service was rude and ignorant with her with no chance of finishing fixing the leak which should have never happened on a new trailer. Now I'm speaking out as this water problem was a problem when we purchased this trader and picked it up, Western RV needs to fix this issue, this is not something that happened because we've owned it for a few years, this was a problem right from purchase. I woke up this morning as it was raining lastnight and again my pants were on the floor beside my bed and they are soaked from it still leaking from somewhere. This is not exceptible from a reputable company like Western RV, I only ask to stop the bad attitude from service and complete fixing this leak on this new RV. Male or Female both my wife and I own and want to enjoy this RV hoping for years to come, there doesn't have to be negative Attitudes from employees to finish fixing the issue that shouldn't have been with a new trailer.
Very happy
We were very happy with all staff in Kelowna. They are very easy to work with very flexible, friendly, and gets the job done fast. Mark in service is amazing. All in all very happy with the service and made making a major purchase an enjoyable experience.
Fantastic Service
My husband and I bought a 2016 Shasta Oasis travel trailer through Western. From the point of sale with Mike, and the fantastic service with our financing through Kim, to the walk thru and the knowledge of Pete, we could not have asked for better service. This was the most pleasant experience from start to finish seeing how this is our first trailer. Would highly recommend Western to anyone and we will be back to trade our trailer in within a couple of years because of the exceptional service we have received!
Disappointed right from the first time I used it. Nothing but problems that were suppose to be fixed before I picked it up.
Don't lie!! That's a first. Don't tell me it's ready to go and only half the things are fixed. When I take it to another westerner Rv in leduc don't take it back to Ardrie and then make me drive a extra 1.5 to pick it up in Ardrie. And my final issue was u guys told me to book with u so we could get it done sooner so I book a month in advance to have it there on the 6th of July and u guys said u will have it done by the 11th. So I call around 2:00 on the 11th and u tell me u haven't started yet!!! Yes I'm pissed. I will not refer u guys to anyone! Now I have to find and pay for a hotel for work again because of this trailer and your service. Very disappointed.
Fantastic Sales & Friendly Staff
With customer service seeming to be a thing of the past now a days, it was a breathe of fresh air buying our new Fifth Wheel at Western RV in Airdrie. After looking at different RV's for a few months, we found a lightly used unit online and made the trip down to Airdrie to go view it (10 hour round trip). We were kindly greeted by sales professional John Soron, and he took great care of us throughout the whole process, right down to trying to find us the right 5th wheel hitch when all suppliers were closed for the weekend and getting us a hotel for the night at a reduced rate. John is absolutely fantastic and treated us like is own family; an experience we'll never forget!! <br />
We were hoping to go home with the RV that same weekend and it wouldn't have happened without John and Finance Manager, Chris. They went above and beyond so that we could leave with the RV and not have to travel back at a later date for pick up. Western RV in Airdrie truly is #1 and we would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used RV. Be sure to ask for Johnny :)
Very surprised
I'm very pleased with the bike rack installation so far. Hopefully when I do use it, it will work with no trouble.
On another note, the customer service is very disappointing. I thought with Western RV being so popular, their customer service procedure would have been better. I was totally expecting a call back with information of a price quote before any of the work was even started because the gals at the service desk said this could definitely be given. Then when I received the bill, the typed in request shown did not match part of what I was requesting which resulted in a major miscommunication.
As a customer, communication with the individual doing the work would be appreciated instead of having to talk through the gals at the service desk. The messages seemed to get confused along the way back and forth to the person actually doing the work and the customer. Quite frustrating actually.
At the end of it all, a very nice guy from the back came out and helped me with keeping my tent trailer from leaking and informed me of how to do so. Thank you to him and to the gal who installed my bike rack which looks great!
Hopefully the communication will work out better for other customers. I will have to go elsewhere next time.
Hugely disappointed.
This place is such a scam. My parents bought a trailer from them, and have regretted it ever since.
Firstly the sold the trailer with 10 year old PASSENGER CAR TIRES on it. They didn't notice till on the second trip they got a flat. Next trip, another flat.
"Sorry, there's nothing we can do". Is the unreal response they gave them.
The older salesmen smoked cigarettes while telling them over and over again that EVERYTHING would be checked over before they got possession. They would clean it 100% and it would be ready to go.
When we showed up to pick it up we had to wait cause they just noticed the awning was in tatters and had to replace it. They guy who did the walk around knew almost nothing about the unit, or RVs in general.
One of the locks wouldn't turn. Rather than quickly replacing it a "technician" came and tried to wiggle the key for 15 mins. No lie. Not sure what he was hoping for.
Long story short they likely took 10 mins checking some basics 5 mins before we were to pick it up. Wasn't clean, water tank leaked, hot water tank plug leaked, bearings were low on filthy grease, spare tire was the wrong size as the trailers tires, step was broken and not bolted up properly, stabizing jacks were lose and probably another dozen things I can't recall right now.
I've heard from 2 friends who have similar experiences. Salesmen as so pushy too. They picked as 2002 trailer for $12,000 and when they told me I checked their website and found the exact same make and model but a 2012 for only $2000 more. I called mr slime salesmen about it and he tells me that one has a pending deal. "You'll be happy with the one your parents picked". Oh thanks. I called back a few hours later asking about the other trailer, and I'm sure you can guess, no pending deal.
There are other RV dealers in Airdrie that you can trust, I won't name them cause anyone of them are better then Western. I'm sure RV dealers in Mogadishu are better than Western.
If you want a taste of their business call them up asking to talk to a maneger about an issue you have with a unit you bought. You'll get the "he's not in right now". Call back minutes later and ask for the maneger about a unit your wanting to buy. Magically he'll appear.
Once they have your deposit they treat you like a homeless bum living behind their trash can.
I've just posted this review everywhere I could. Next I will comment on web forums.
Very Dissatisfied - Will NOT recommend
We dropped our Fifth Wheel off mid October 2015 for warranty work. The Fifth Wheel had to go to the manufacturer in the U.S. and did not get sent down until February 2016. Today is June 28th, 2016 and we STILL do NOT have our trailer back nor do we have any idea WHEN we will get it back! We are paying $4000 for a seasonal lot that we aren't able to use and my husband is having to rent a trailer to go to work when he is working 20 minutes away from our seasonal lot! They haven't once even offered us loaner trailer!!
We have had to email the manufacturer ourselves and try to find out what is happening as the service department at Western RV doesn't seem too interested in finding out for us!
We have bought 4 trailers from Western RV and have referred numerous people there, but we will not do either anymore! Be aware - they don't care!!
Service
On time service, no issues!

ERIN FOESIER
Will recommend anyone to buy from western
From the moment we stepped into the store to the day we picked up our trailer Aniz was there helping us. From getting everything fixed to even leaving a bottle of awning cleaner to also his news letters hands down was the best experience that I could ask for from a sales person.
FRUSTRATED
I don't know where to begin.I bought my trailer at the Leduc western rv dealer in May 2015.Its a 2016 western country from the salesperson Aniz.(Hes a good salesperson).upon picking it up on Pdi I found the propane leak at the main fitting which was missed on presentation.I let that one go.Upn the FIRST time using the trailer my awning came loose from the side and my cupboard latches broke ruining my trim. When I brought my trailer in for the awning repair I showed the service writer the location of the repair. When I picked up my trailer it was still not fully repaired.I had to wait in the parking lot as they repaired it.Still I was calm as I also work in the customer service industry as a shop foreman at a chevy dealership. Finally I bring in my trailer on Apr 27/16 for 3 pages of warranty work as I am very unhappy with this trailer as its struggling to last a year but that's not the dealers fault.Thats crossroads.I left my trailer for almost 2 months and I waited for an update on my trailer.I never got a call so I phoned and was told parts were on order and waiting for authorization. All this fine.I know parts can take a whle.Heres where im unhappy.I made agreement with Austin in service to pick up trailer as I am going on holidays.I was told that all repairs were done except the front emblem and the cushion.I told her I would likely pick it up and bring it back but I would let her know. When I realized I needed my trailer I had my wife phone and was told we need to still rip up the floor.Thats news to me.I never heard this before.I said wait on the repair cause I STILL wasn't upset.I told her ill pick it up.When I got there as I live 2hours out of town I got my trailer and then told I would have to get added warranty auth for an extension.Another thing not disclosed to me.I was told I could bring it back when im done with it meaning end of summer I assumed as all my repairs are cosmetic. When I picked up my trailer not 1 thing was repaired!!!It was there for almost 2 MONTHS!!!And why didn't they just tell me that.I would have been fine but telling me its done that's unacceptable. When I talked to the service manager Clayton he just said all he can say is sorry. When asked about why my counter wasn't repaired or my door trim wasn't fixed he said she should have glued it and we have those in stock so I don't know why that wasn't done.I said me either. It seems like my trailer was there parked for 2 months and when I picked it up my battery was dead so how long did it sit!!I can not believe a service dept is run that way.I don't expect much but I do expect my trailer to be repaired when im told it is.I bought my trailer from you and bring my service to you.I feel as once you sold me my trailer it was so long sucker.I feel for Aniz though as I will never buy a trailer from any western rv or recommend anyone as long as the service is run this way. There needs to be changes in service and management.
Amazing Service And Staff!
We had the best service and experience at western rv. We looked at many RV dealerships and western rv was by far the most helpful and friendly. They had lots of selection and loved you could see the pricing inside of the rv! I also loved that they don't try and push you into a RV, they found exactly what we were looking for and made sure it worked for us not them! I recommend Western RV to everyone!
