Very appreciative of Sarah Verheyden's help in getting our event set up. The night of the event went very well. The wait staff were very attentive and respectful. Whenever I needed something, they were right there to do it and smiled!

The Salem Police Association has held their annual Christmas party since the first year of the Convention Center. I have been in charge of coordinating this party since that time also. I find the convention staff so helpful. They are willing to work with whatever our needs are for that particular year. I like working with the same people that are with the convention center, they seem to have a low turnover. They are always most professional. Every year our party gets bigger and better. 2017 was the biggest one held since I have been coordinator. I have already booked our party for 2018.<br /> <br /> Wishing all staff the happiest of holidays. The Salem Police Association appreciates you.

I organized an all day conference & evening banquet at the Salem Convention Center, and my boss and I were extremely impressed with the level of service and professionalism we experienced. Both the event coordinator and catering manager were excellent to work with via email & phone, and were equally delightful to meet in person. Friendly, responsive, accommodating, and flexible! The event itself was a success, and it was fascinating to watch the catering crew completely transform a room from a business setting to a holiday banquet in less than 20 minutes.<br /> <br /> Above all, after chatting with several staff at different levels, it was apparent that each employee had only good things to say about the establishment, and genuinely seemed to enjoy working there. It speaks volumes about a place of hospitality when the workers themselves respect the management; How can you take care of guests if you aren't taking care of your own staff? All in all, a great experience! This place will certainly have our business again the next time we are in Salem!

We have held our annual employee holiday brunch at the Salem Convention Center since they first opened. This year we had about 300 people attending and as usual the room was beautiful, set-up perfect, food delicious and staff attentive, friendly, and great to work with. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a venue for a special event!

My organization has its annual conference at the Salem Convention Center and every year we are blown away by their service. They are professional, warm, and incredibly accommodating. Their management staff is great and so is their service staff. Planning is a breeze, and making last minutes changes is painless. And the food is great!

This was our second year in a row hosting our Retirement Expo at the Salem Convention Center. The facility is world class and provides the professional and inviting atmosphere that we were looking for. The SCC staff are constantly available, responsive, and friendly. Sarah is always so supportive, attentive and flexible.
