Salem Convention Center was great to work with for our 250+ conference held in May. They were extremely responsive and accommodating during planning. During the event itself, staff were pleasant, efficient, and available to make everything run smoothly.

'-They did not prepare enough food in line with number of guests we had made reservations for. Another item was substituted, but it was not what was ordered, which was disappointing. This of course then also caused delays in the food being served to the last few guests. -The tables were very cluttered with unnecessary items including coffee cups and saucers when coffee was not served. -Parking was inadequate in the number of spaces available and the parking spaces were very tight, even for average size vehicles. -One of the servers was a bit less than professional in her interactions with the guests.

Good place to have a event or go to one. They have charging stations there so if your run in low go there. Also free WIFI!
We are so pleased with our experience with Salem Convention Center hosting our Annual Oregon Dairy Industries Conference that we booked years in advance. Very responsive to our needs, personable, professional. I highly recommend SCC.

We held a celebration of life for my husband who owned a well-known small business in town. From day one in the planning to execution, Tina and Sarah were great in the details. On the day of the event, not only was the room set up so nicely, the staff went above and beyond in making sure our needs were met. We received fantastic service! Many comments heard from the folks in attendance were on the delicious and fresh food served. My gratitude in making this fun/tearful memorable celebration of his life gone too soon special. I highly recommend them for any event.

Great place hard to find parking

Overall really met our expectations. One small hiccup on day 1 with a shortage of plates and utensils for lunch but this was quickly rectified. The staff checked on our needs often and ensured we had the proper setup. A good central location for us.
Sarah Verheyden is professional, kind, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure our event is ready. She responds quickly and if there's a problem or a hurdle, she always provides another solution rather than saying "no." Thanks to Sarah we have a clear vision of what's expected of us in the planning process and we had no surprises the day of the event. Whatever we needed, Sarah was there to support us and take care of it. The catering staff is so helpful during set up and during the event. I know I can ask any of them for help and they will take care of it or find the right person to help. Thank you so much, Sarah!

Great facility! All convention center staff are efficient, polite, and very helpful. The bathrooms are kept clean and well stocked. The food is exceptional! Fresh, flavorful, and clearly labeled if food is gluten free, dairy free, etc. Underground parking is atrocious! Ridiculously small stalls with pillars.

We held a two day conference recently and it was very successful due to the amazing attentive staff and wonderful location. From top to bottom, the experience was flawless. Our attendees loved the venue and food. Highly recommend having an event at the Salem Convention Center. We will be back for sure!
