Crystal's telephone manner is combative and extremely unhelpful. After the Hy-Pro plumber came, I was left with a mess that flooded my upstairs bathroom and when I called for help Crystal continually interrupted me, and spoke to me in a scornful, dismissive tone, and slammed the phone down in my ear. When a workman finally came, hours later, he told me there are many complaints against her from customers. How does she keep her job? I will not be using Hy-Pro again, not even to fix the problems you have caused.

Jun 30, 2015 Extremely Professional & Good Quality Service
Our first encounter with Hy-Pro was with a Tech. "Ian Manser" who promptly made a same day appointment to address our problem (drains backing up). His on-site visit was very professional and he presented to us two options for consideration. After careful debate, we agreed to proceed with the re-line of our drain from the house to the municipality system. Ian was extremely knowledgeable about the process and suggested we view the "video" he made of our drain. Although initially we were shocked at the cost of the process, given the excellent warranty and detailed technical explanation, as well as the alternative option of exterior trauma to our landscaped property and removal of mature trees, we recognized the value with proceeding. Ian was also very friendly, patient , respectful and answered all our questions thoroughly. The Service Team of three, headed up by Mark and members Josh and Jamie was also exceptional! They all displayed professionalism and excellence in workmanship. Mark explained an unforeseen difficulty and arrived promptly the following day with another team member, Frank, to complete the repair. The repair work was impeccably executed and the work area was left very clean and debris free. Our whole experience dealing with Hy-Pro was EXCELLENT. (Even phoning to remit payment was a pleasant experience, dealing with "Devi". We would highly recommend this company.

The plumber that looked after my issue was named Josh, and he did an excellent job of quickly find the issue, putting a plan of action in place, keeping me informed at each step. He informed me of the cost prior to starting and I received great value! Thoroughly professional and capable work, problem solved! Josh did a great job, fromvthe work boot booties to the final payment! I would use Hy-Pro again, and recommend Hy-Pro and Josh in the future!

May 13, 2015 Very Bad Experience
To who this may concern. We had a back up to our septic system. The technician pointed out early that he would try to snake it, but if it is with the septic, he can do nothing. I said ok. MY wife pointed out how overly happy he seemed to deliver bad news. I asked the price, he said 400+. i said, what happens if this doesnt work with your camera, he said that he could try and snake it, or we do the water injection type of treatment. I said, how much is that, he replied, you don't even want to know. What kind of an answer is that? He brought it up. He snaked the line and got caught on some tiny tree roots but did not solve the problem. He then said that means that my pipe is all cracked and i have major issues with the pipe leading to the septic. he said he felt bad for me because i had a nice deck out there that would have to come off because that pipe needs to be replaced. We opened the septic up and he said my septic was too full and i now had a problem leading to the septic and a major problem in the yard. I would likely need a whole new septic system and drain field. but he was not a septic inspector and couldn't be sure. I paid almost 500$ for him to snake and get stuck. did not solve the problem and gave us horrible news about a 25000 to 50000 fix for our septic, yet i still need to call the septic company to get it cleaned out. So not only was our problem not solved because he couldn't snake it to clear, both my wife and i were now under the impression that the only way to fix this was likely a new back yard, a new deck to get access to all the pipes and a whole new septic system. I called the septic guy who came to measure the levels, and stated that the septic is exactly how it should be, and in good working order. They recommended another plumber to snake the main line to the septic because it seemed to still be blocked. I called their plumber, the guy came in, cut the main line in the house, put a flashlight down the line and showed me a blockage about 4 feet outside the house. He pushed his snake through, broke the blockage in about 2 minutes, put the line back together and was gone in about an hour total from start to finish for a quarter of the price i paid Hy Pro. The technician from hypro told us about all of the worst case scenarios, how much money we were likely going to need to spend and it turned out that his snake was not powerful enough to push the blockage. The new plumber said he would only use that type of snake if the blockage was in the house. I know you provide emergency service and i am sure you have some great technicians, but the service we received was awful. He did spend time there while i dug out the septic lid which i appreciated as he said it was a last ditch effort, but all of his news was incredibly negative. Even our neighbors were amazed by how negative the guy was. We didn't sleep at all that night just to find out the next morning what truly amazing service is from our septic company and the new plumber.

Joshua Draker was the technician that came to our home. He was very professional and extremely respectful to me and my wife. He fixed our plumbing in a timely manner in the middle of a rain and hail storm. He was still cheerful! Because you give this kind of service and have this type of staff representing you I will not only call you again but recommend you to all my friends. I work in engineering and my wife is a family physician. We both agree that the level of professionalism shown by your company is top notch!

I have been calling other companies to get a quote for a sewer lateral liner. This is the first company that couldn't make an appointment at a convenient time for the potential new customer. I was shocked to hear the best they could do was give me a 3 hour window when they could show up to quote the job! I'm sorry, I told the girl on the phone if she couldn't set an appointment time I was calling another company. She didn't care. So I have booked my 3 quotes with other companies, at times convenient for me! I guess maybe they get enough business from their after hours emergencies, they just don't need any other customers. That's what it sure felt like. If I could have given 0 stars I would have. No customer service here!

We have a beaufiful Heritage home but have been dealing with a low quality sub grade pump system that was always needing servicing and orignally installed when renovated by a builder. We were always needing service calls to unstick or clean out. Plumbing company ( friends of same builder) didn't return calls for days even with emergency requests. After some research we called Hy- Pro who installed a state of the art system, eliminated the need for all our problematic service calls of the past. We had an excellent quick response, and our technician ( Eric) was very professional and knowledgeable. We appreciate the peace of mind we now enjoy and love our home again. Thankyou Tracy

From the first phone conversation to your office staff, to Jeremy finishing the job, we were blown over by the great service.Not only did Jeremy do a professional job on the plumbing he listened and explained what was needed done. Jeremy arrived quickly and was extremely professional. He explained everything and fixed the problem incredibly fast. He also gave me helpful advice to prevent the issue from recurring. I couldn't have asked for more !
