I have used Western Construction for two different projects, one a foundation restoration, the other a crack repair and both times they were timely, completed the job as they bid it and the men doing the job were professional and took care when completing repairs. Office staff were also great to work with! Highly recommended.
David only came out for the initial bid, but was willing to come out a second time when my nerves kicked in. James Conin was the site manager for the project and he was terrific. Very professional keeping the guys on track and being a thoughtful listener/communicator. There is one issue remaining, so will see how their follow up is soon.
I appreciated their use of a wait list. Extremely happy work was done sooner than expected. Our repairs were structural not foundational. Justin identified the problem and explained their process. Our site was left clean and the protect was done professionally. Follow up pictures were provided so we could see the repairs without crawling under the house. Great job guys!
Tyler and the crew were outstanding. Onsite they saw the initial plan might not be adequate, so they did extra work at no additional cost to make sure it was done right. Along the way, they communicated their approach clearly and proactively. Highly recommended.
Justine's team showed up promptly at the appointed time, ready to go. All work completed within the day. Only two minor, really petty, issues: one of the downspouts was not reconnected, though one received extensive treatment (lengthening away from the footer); and my wheelbarrow was blocking the basement door to the work area when I went to check it out. Finally, I have heard from other contractors that your prices are quite high. In conversation with another general contractor, I received an estimate of $100 per post, after I had already paid you half the bill ahead of the work being done. Except for that rather large money issue, your work was more than satisfactory. Thanks, Justin.

The quality of the work was masterful; the crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and on time; and the site was cleaned up with all appliances put back in their places. And no more wet basement!

David was our estimater & contact person. He came at the start of the job & stayed till he was sure everyone had full understanding of what was to be done & that full communication had been achieved. Justin was prompt on his site visit, as well as his quote to repair water leaks in my concrete garage. He followed up right after the work was complete to make sure I was happy and then had sent the crew back out to do some touch up as well as some extra work that wasn't apart of the original job. Western Construction Systems is more expensive than your average concrete repair contractor, but as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for," and in my case, I got my money's worth and am confident the repairs will remain successful for many years.
Justin's team (Tyler, Juan and several other nice guys. Sorry, I didn't get everyone's names) did a beautiful job on a retaining wall, storm drains, sump pump installation and post and beam work to support the flooring of my home. They were polite and worked in a clean and organized fashion. I have recommended WCS to several folks already.
WCS was wonderful to work with. Very professional and the communication, with follow-up, was tops. I am a Realtor and will definitely use them again and recommend them to my clients. James was super!
The folks from Western Construction Systems replaced a beam with wood beetle damage in our crawl space. Initially estimated to take two days, the guys were in and out in a matter of hours. The job was done professionally and I'll be recommending them to anyone who needs foundation work done.
We had a large beam under our driveway that was rotten. The first firm to look at it were going to tear up the concrete driveway at great expense. Western found a creative way to do it, sparing the driveway and saving a bundle of money.
Our work with Western Construction Systems was one of the better contractor experiences we've had. Justin was sincere in what our home repair needs were (it wasn't about the upsell), and his team was on time, professional, and efficient in their work. Overall a good experience.
I just want to thank WCS, Tyler, Juan and the whole gang, for a great job restoring and repairing our 110yr old basement!
David A. came with an affordable bid for a basement wall that was bowed and cracked from tree roots. He lined up a plumber ( Crown plumbing, also great to work with that outfit) to handle some prep work, then had his crew headed by Tyler to do the basement work. Polite, professional, and skilled. Took time to explain what was going on, great dust protection, using plastic barriers, air scrubbers, etc. Man, the result was amazing and now I feel I need to clean out the junk in that basement and make it live up to its new walls!!! I would definitely call Western to give you a bid on your foundation/basement issues. They won't fudge or make stuff----honesty is really a plus. I appreciate how they line up other contractors to do prep work if needed and also carpentry if needed....it's super hard finding contractors to take on smaller jobs.
By returning phone calls, and since I had to call you a number of times with either no return or B.S. replies; I learned your philosophy towards your customer base. The first three times I called after receiving your proposal, were as follows: (1) a message left with no returns, (2) Message two was response of you were busy and would return my call, (3) Message three was take some photos of the concrete deck and forward them to you. The photos were sent to and no response was ever received.
After getting inflated estimates for the foundation repair we needed from other companies, it was a relief to get an estimate from Western Construction that was both practical and reasonable. They came on time, did a good job, cleaned up, and took photos to show us the result. It was just what we needed. They will be the ones we call whenever we need help in the future.
These guys came in and fixed my foundation wall after another company screwed up. Good service and a good price. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs foundation work.
