The house is a rental—we are not in the area—tenants were advised that the basement was having work done—sounds like a nightmare, right—well Not so with Western Construction Systems—they showed up right on time—did a great job—kept the tenants happy and this is now our go to company for all our rentals in Oregon. I had a good experience with Western a few years ago when crews installed a pump in my basement. I didn't hesitate to call them again when I had concerns about leaky spots in the foundation. The crew arrived on time, reviewed the project with me before beginning, and then set to work. The project was carefully and professionally done, and the crew finished up sooner than anticipated. The post-work clean up was very thorough, which I really appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend Western to neighbors and friends. Great work, guys -- thanks! As a busy principal broker in Portland, I am in constant need of foundation repair work. So many homes are 100 years old and are in need of some serious repair. JOB WAS QUOTED FOR 2 DAYS, AND WAS DONE IN 2 DURING VERY HOT SUMMER DAYS. GROUNDS WERE RAKED OUT AND SURFACE OF FOUNDATION LOOKED FABULOUS. I DIFFENENTLY RECOMMEND WCS FOR YOUR FOUNDATION PROBLEMS.
The crew of three showed up on time and didn’t waste any time getting started. They were conscientious about not tracking dirt from the crawl space through our house. At the end of the day, they showed and explained everything they had done. Their workmanship was professional, and they made a point to clean up everything before they left. I would recommend Western Construction to my friends and family.
Kevin and Isaiah were polite efficient workers. It appears that they did a great job and I would expect no more water leak in that area of the basement. They assured me that if there was any problem this winter that they would be back to fix it. I am very confident in their work.

Tyler met with me twice at the same property, each time for a different issue. He is knowledgeable and helpful. He got my repair worked into their schedule despite the busy construction market. The work was done quickly and at a reasonable price. I will continue to use Western Construction systems for all my foundation repair needs.
Basement wall had a 2 inch wide crack running the entire height of the wall. Garden slugs were living in that crack; you could hear the water dripping behind the knotty cedar paneling. Horrifying. Met with Tyler Reitzer (superintendent). He did a very thorough inspection of the wall and surrounding sources of water, explained very clearly what he would do to fix the crack (9,000psi fiber reinforced mortar; injection of water activated urethane) and offered additional (free) advice about how I could reduce hydrostatic pressure against the wall by fixing some other minor leaks (which I did). Juan Ledesma (field technician), arrived exactly on time, performed the work exactly as specified, made sure I knew what he was doing and was satisfied with the results, and left the work area cleaner than he had found it. A good experience from start to finish.
Justin and his team came out and repaired our basement so it would not leak. They were fast, professional and pleasant to work with. The job is beautifully done and the repair complete. I can't say enough positive remarks about Justin and Western Construction.
I needed the crawlspace completely redone with drains, sump pumps, cracks repaired. I got numerous estimates and felt David gave the best explanation of what was needed and why. The men doing the work were fantastic with the job foreman keeping in touch consistently throughout the job. I went with 4 stars because the communication between the estimate and the beginning of work was not good, nearly nonexistent and I had to ask several times for the estimate to be sent. The important part, the work was definitely 5 star.
From the time of first call, I felt supported (Thanks Molly). I needed a job done. Tyler was punctual, perfect amount of professional, and efficient. The install crew that came out were also professional, and courteous. (I even liked the company they worked with for my electrical needs.) Billing department was also a pleasure to work with. The gals (Rachel and Mia) were wonderful with their punctual communications. But most of all, WCS has my highest respect for the fact that they kept their pricing very fair. They knew I was very desperate to get this job done. Integrity goes a long way with me; I would highly recommend them to everyone and anyone in need of a service this company can provide.
Tyler came to my rental house to evaluate a drainage issue. He was professional, courteous, and straight forward. Two weeks later he returned with his crew and finished the job efficiently. His depth and scope of work was just right and I feel he offered a lot of value for the money. I will use Western Construction again should an issue arise. I am pleased with the results.
Our house was built in 1938. The basement foundation was cracking with water seeping. Tyler was professional from the first visit to scope the project and give an estimate. He found other problems in our basement that had been hidden by the previous owner. The office staff was courteous and available for my questions and scheduling the extensive repair. The repair crew was knowledgeable, polite, and tidy. Tyler and the company owners cared about the work. The job was completed ahead of schedule. I would recommend Western Construction.
