Checked out the Vortex during happy hour with a couple of friends. First off, the macaroni and cheese was to die for. The happy hour size is a half order and was enough for all 3 of us to try it and get enough. I ordered the veggie burger, and it was super good. One person at my party ordered the regular burger and enjoyed it. The other person ordered the steak bites and really liked it.
Been looking for a good burger in Salem for 3 years, and this place has it! Great fries too. The atmosphere is relaxing and a bit zen/hip. Perfect combination. The workers were awesome and helpful! It was an amazing experience, and I am a restaurant snob.. so to give all 5 stars on every level says a lot. Hope they can continue their 5 star service, food and atmosphere.. because I am handing out the business cards! Xoxo
