We went to the Market For The Strange and enjoyed the crafts and, because this is kind of a goth inspired event, the people watching. We did buy some jewelry for gifts and would go back again. This particular event is held every other month. There's free parking in the parking deck across the street and the restrooms are clean. The

The staff was lovely, the venue beautiful, and the food good, but, man, it was freezing! And the wi-fi was terrible. Not a comfortable or productive business conference.

Parking garage is below ground, full size trucks suggest street parking. As far as rooms go, we did not stay at the hotel that is adjoining, we used the Willamette room upstairs. Absolutely wonderful!

We hosted our wedding reception at the Salem Convention Center in August of 2025 and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! Carole and Sarah helped us plan the event to make sure all the details were right. The dining and bartending staff took excellent care of our friends and family and the seamless connection with the Grand Hotel made everything so easy. We would highly recommend the Convention Center!

Recently, I was an exhibitor at a conference at the Salem Convention Center. The location, service, and food was outstanding! I had some very bulky heavy things to load into the second floor, and the staff went out of their way to help. Highly recommend hosting your next event here.
