Never been here before. First event at the center. I was impressed that this was there for Salem. Good parking across the street. Clean, open and friendly. A little 'small town' feely... but it is a small town... so that's not really a negative. All in all, if I was doing another event in Salem, I'd probably go here.
Our Company held our first ever event here and it went seamless. The room was set up perfectly and every staff employee we spoke to went out of their way to assist. The Italian Buffett was outstanding. Our guest loved the food and again the servers were so friendly and helpful. We will most certainly hold another event here sometime soon. Thank you for assisting in such a successful day!

We host one of our annual conferences here and the venue never disappoints. Staff is friendly, quick to help out in anyway and very accommodating to changing needs. We get many compliments from our attendees on the food served as well. I never need to worry about having a succesful conference when I am at the Salem Convention Center.

Decent for a small town convention center....
This is the fourth year our law firm has held our annual Ag Summit at the Salem Convention Center and again we were extremely happy with the venue and the service.<br /> <br /> Each year the tech support by Julia is a show-saver. This year a presenter requested at the very last minute to include an audio feed as part of her presentation. Julia was unflappable and calmly made it happen. The audience and the speaker were very happy; so was I!<br /> <br /> Tina was great to work with in helping me coordinate the event and Yo kept the catering aspects running smoothly.<br /> <br /> Everyone was friendly, professional and very good at what they do. My experience with Salem Convention Center couldn't have been better! The staff was super helpful, friendly, and quick.<br /> At all points of the process from deciding when, where, what my party would entail to the very end and billing they proved themselves to be customer service oriented and very helpful.<br /> I would highly recommend them and consider using them for a future event as well.
The staff make scheduling a meeting a breeze. The room was set up perfect for our presentations and the food was delicious. Everyone was very helpful & friendly. No complaints!
