Don made the process relatively easy and he includes submitting the paperwork for approval to Sun City's ARC as part of his service. The shade and installation materials arrived around the time Don said it would and installers Mike and Jeremiah did an excellent job quickly and efficiently. We were concerned about minimizing the visibility of cabling and the electrical junction box and the finished installation exceeded our expectations. We are pleased with the results.

May 6, 2019 It Doesn't Get Any Better!
We planned to add a major extension to the existing patio cover at our new home in Lincoln Hills. Don's Awnings was highly recommended to us, and it was immediately obvious that we made the right decision to work with Don. Once we sat down with Don to plan out our addition, he took complete charge of the entire process - drawing up the plans, filing city permits, securing HOA approvals, etc. The installation had to be delayed due to all the rain in April, but once started, the entire project took only three days to complete due to the terrific efforts of Serg, Jeremy and Steve. The project included a 10" x 30' solid patio cover with 3 concrete footings and a drop shade. Don and his crew were in-and-out in three days and now we are looking forward to many years of enjoying our revitalized back yard. Thanks, Don - You and your guys are absolutely the best!

Don is warm and friendly and worked with us to choose between a hard cover and an awning. He was extremely informative and helpful. On installation day, all the men who installed the awning were professional and Don was here to make sure all was done well and it was. There is no one other that Don's Awnings that I would call when this kind of product is needed. They are the BEST!

We are more then pleased with our new awning and drop shades. They are very well made and more then do the trick of keeping the sun out and reducing the temperatures. When Don said “leave it to us, we’ll do a great job”, he wasn’t overstating their abilities, or the quality of their product. Our 4 new Eclipse drop shades are the perfect fix for our decks westerly exposure. They look like they were built into the house, and the color selection is perfect. We had most of Don’s crew working here as we also had them replace our old wood trellis with a solid cover. The guys couldn’t have been more polite and focused on their installation. All we can say is ‘Thanks You’ to Don and his entire crew.

This is a belated review for Don's Awnings. Back in February we had him install a motorized drop shade on the south (hottest) end of our patio. With our current heatwave, it's sure paying off now. What a difference it makes! Don was great to work with, very professional and knowledgeable. And Sergey and his partner, who did the install, were skilled as well. No problems, smooth process from start to finish. Don even handled the HOA approval process. Very happy with the outcome. Highly recommended.
