I have been using Larkin for all the HVAC needs of my apartment complexes for 3 years now. Their techs have always been competent and knowledgeable and provide excellent service. Their pricing is fair, their techs are the best group of techs I've ever encountered in the HVAC field, and the office management is first class. I will be a long time customer of theirs for both my business and for my home.
I am a property manager and I have been using Larking Heating and Air for several months now, and they consistently provide me with quick, honest service, at affordable pricing. These guys are top notch and know what they are doing. I trust them in homes with our tenants, I trust their recommendations and they don't try to sell you a new furnace at every house they are in. If you need HVAC repairs, they are the ones I would recommend. Oh and they have fixed more than a few fireplaces for us as well. <br /> <br /> Thanks guys!
On news years day our service man was very committed to solving our issue and was very thorough!
The technician actually showed up two hours earlier than estimated, after an emergency Sunday call. Discovered the problem and solved it within the first hour service call, with no "emergency" service charge (apparently).
they came earlier then expected right before christmas and fixed everything right away. will be using again in the summer for my air conditioner problems for sure.
Larkin actually provides prompt overnight emergency service. At 11:30pm our relatively new furnace was suddenly not functioning, with house temp. down to 52 degrees. I tried to contact two other 24 hour HVAC companies that were manned by dispatchers who could only say they would contact their technician,. However, I got no response over 6 hours. At 5:30 am I called Larkin. I spoke directly to Ryan the owner, who happened to be on call. He came by 7am and found a short circuit in the furnace wiring that he was able to fix within 30 minutes. The charge was only 59.00$ and any furtner need for service this winter will not have a 59$ dispatch fee. Am I happy with Larkin's service? I couldn't be happier!!
My furnace suddenly stopped turning on one morning. Researched and found the status error code to be 23 which meant: Pressure Switch Did Not Open Check for- 1) obstructed pressure tubing or 2) defective pressure switch (stuck in closed position). I did the standard thing by calling around random heat/cooling companies in my area. Spoke to about 3 companies and got two things: replace the pressure switch at roughly $300-$400 or came diagnose the issue at approximately $100-$130. I wasn't satisfied with what was presented to me so I dug even deeper and found that there was a possibility that I could remedy the situation by removing hoses and clearing it out myself if there was a clog. I wasn't comfortable enough to do this so I ultimately decided to make one more call. Luckily, I reached Ryan Larkin on the phone. It was about 8:30pm on a Friday night. I explained the situation and he agreed to come take a look later that night. Not only was his diagnostic fee a lot cheaper ($59) but my instinct told me that he was worth trying out. Long story short, Ryan came as promised (actually 30 minutes sooner than expected). He was very knowledgeable and straightforward. He explained to me the whole process on how a furnace actually works and what could cause my issue. Well, turns out he was correct. He simply removed a few hoses and cleared out the stuck valve. Everything started working again. I highly recommend Larkin to everyone. This company has proven to me that honesty goes a long way. Since I normally don't' have to deal w/ heating/cooling issues I usually just google companies for service. This procedure has changed now, I have saved the company's contact information and forever use their services. <br />
I got some bad news from one of those "other" guys Sameday Heating and Air earlier in the morning. Most of the time spent talking about a furnace replacement rather than finding and/or fixing the problem. I got with Ryan over text and he came within a few hours. It took him less than 10 minutes to figure out I had a clogged flue. He cleaned it out and the furnace is working. <br /> <br /> Why I didn't contact him sooner I'll never know. Thanks again for your integrity and honesty when others are simply looking to make a buck.
I called Ryan around 1:00 pm. Ryan made it to our home within two hours and fixed our furnace in 10 minutes! He was 30-40% cheaper than any of the other competing companies. Super friendly and very knowledgeable!
They came within hours to fix a bad situation. Very courteous and knowledgeable. Didn't take a lot of time to fix us up. I will always use Larkin.
Larkin just completed a furnace check up. The Technician was polite and thorough. I would use them again.

They came and tuned up and cleaned my furnace and I forgot to mention my AC as well and so they came back a second time very quickly to take care of that. I was up against it on time as I sold my home and they were up to the task.
We had a capacitor give out in our AC unit, and Larkin came out that same day, 30 minutes ahead of their scheduled window. The technician was friendly and quickly identified that the problem was the capacitor. He had the unit up and running very quickly. Since we are a member of the customer care plan, we didn't have to pay anything for the repair. We have been very satisfied with Larkin, and the service they have provided us on two different occasions.
Austin was fabulous to work with! He kept in contact with us & made sure we were happy. <br /> We had had 3 other A/C companies come in for bids. They had the best price/warranty/turn around time.<br /> Had some major issues with office staff & confirming install date - Austin made good on all our issues.<br /> Even with all the roadblocks we had with getting it installed with the office staff.....still they have great people working with them that care about their customers!<br />
Larkin installed a heat pump in 2012 for us and as it started to warm we notice the heat pump fan would not go on as it normally does to either extract hot air or cold air from the house. Called Larkin and was able to schedule a appointment the next day and Austin - service person- called and came right over. He tested our heat pump and found a necessary electrical part needed replacement. He got the part replace it and checked out the heat pump all in good time. Larkin's prices are fair their tech folks are good and efficient and we enjoy dealing with them and will continue to do so.
My A/C quit working so I called Larkin and was able to schedule a same-day appointment. Jesse was able to come by earlier than planned and within just a few minutes had diagnosed the problem. It only took him a little while to complete the repair and get my A/C working again. He was extremely courteous and proficient with his work, and the cost of the repair was reasonable. I am very happy with the service I have received and will definitely recommend this company to everyone! Thank you Larkin!!!
I'm on the $25 a month plan and sure glad I am. Had an expensive repair on the a/c and it was covered in full. Love this company. Always available, always great service.
Larkins replaced my furnace last fall. They checked the A/C at that time and it was fine. When I was in the process of selling my house this spring, it wouldn't turn on. They came out, nicest service repairman, and found a broken wire. He fixed it in minutes, then didn't charge me a thing. When the buyer needed an invoice at the last minute, they immediately sent me one. I couldn't be happier with this company. I would recommend them to anyone. They definitely know the meaning of personal customer service.
We are on the monthly service plan that Larkin offers, and recently had a great experience with the annual A/C tune up visit. The technician was punctual and was able to complete the tuneup in less than half an hour. He mentioned that our compressor was drawing more power than average, due to its age, but that everyting else was working fine. We appreciated the professional and caring service that was provided by our technician.
