Friends of Felines

We took our Foster Fuzzies to their free vaccine clinic. They were organized and wonderful to work with. We have now taken momma kitty to be spayed. They talk with you and explain step by step. You can tell they love these animals. 🐈‍⬛🐈

The thrift store had an awesome sale and we were able to buy several shirts and clothes for a great price! Also, the cats and kittens were adorable and they made my day. The employees were all so nice and welcoming.

I've had two cats spayed/neutered at Friends of Felines, and I can't recommend them enough! My boy, Jay, was neutered first. He had a bit of a rocky start, came home very stressed but I was told that was to be expected given the type of medication he was given for his operation. After that first night though, it was clear sailing! He was back to his normal self in a day. My girl, PB, was a bit more stressful. She came home much more worked up than Jay, this is because girls simply have a harder time hormonally than boys do when going through this type of procedure. It took about 24 hours confined to her carrier with her cone on before she finally was relaxed enough to come out and not risk harming her incision area. The problem came when she made quite a big mess in the litter box. I had not asked for a sanitary trim, as I had figured it was something that came with the procedure since she is a long-haired cat and would be stuck with a cone for a week. This was not the case! Needless to say, her bottom was very disgusting and she was clearly uncomfortable. I also had really struggled with getting her cone properly fitted which only exacerbated her discomfort. Thankfully, within 48 hours of her operation, Friends of Felines was able to see her again. They cleaned her bottom, trimmed it up, and refitted her with a much better tied cone than I could manage. She is now resting at home and much more comfortable. This was also done completely free, which I am incredibly thankful for on my minimum wage income. I can't thank the incredibly kind staff at Friends of Felines enough. They've really helped relieve a lot of stress from this whole situation, and are absolutely patient and understanding even when us owners are losing their heads. Thank you!
