5 Star Review By Jaime MacLoflin
This was my second time here, and we tried 2 different carts, which seems to be a theme for me because I did the same last time. We got a bufflo chicken sandwich from Cherry City Wing. $10 A half cheese/hotdogs Korean Corndog $7 and Tayaiki $4 that was strawberry cheesecake. I didn't go to the cherry city wings truck at all, but my partner said they were very polite and nice. The sandwich we got was amazing. The flavor was on point. I look forward to trying more food from them. I believe the owner of the truck was working, which is always awesome. Sweet Seoul - I have been waiting for this food truck to open. I love Korean foods. I am very excited about this for Salem. I've had Korean Corndogs a number of times, and these hit all the markers for me. You can order from a person if you have cash or submit your order yourself if you have a card. They also had soda milks and on the cutest little cat card art up. The owner was there and was really nice and pleasant to speak to. She was really great about explaining what the items were to people who didn't know. There was a couple in front of me who had a lot of questions, and she was more than happy to answer them all. My order took about 5 to 10 mins to cook. I didn't really notice because I was enjoying the benches and looking at all the food trucks. I definitely plan on trying the sushi truck next time! I let the owner pick the sauce, and she opted for spicy, which wasn't bad and was kinda sweet. It was perfectly crunchy, and the flavor was amazing. Even my super picky eater boyfriend was stealing bites. He loved the breading. The Tayaiki was an absolute treat. It was crunchy, sweet, warm, and delicious. My boyfriend kept eating it. And I did make a note to bring my kids back here. It try one because I think they would love it! I've been so impressed by the food trucks here. And the vibe. I love it so much better then the Yard.
