Awakenings is a fantastic local coffee shop! The coffee is consistently fresh, rich, and expertly prepared, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable, and a great place to relax, meet with friends, or get some work done. It's clear they care about both the quality of their drinks and the experience they provide. Awakening Coffee is so much more than just a great place to grab your morning caffeine fix. The atmosphere here is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and laid-back—perfect for hanging out on the patio. ​What really takes this place to the next level is the awesome gravel courtyard with food trucks right on site! I recently grabbed some incredible Cajun food from Bayou Bros Cajun Boils parked out front (the shrimp, crab, and sausage boil was spot on) and paired it with a refreshing cold brew. ​Great service, wonderful community vibe, and fantastic food options all in one place. Whether you're coming for the coffee, staying for the food trucks, or just wanting to enjoy the outdoor seating, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend!

This place is the best! The owners and staff make it a point to get to know their customers and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It’s always bustling with locals and it’s easy to see why it’s so popular. The drinks are delicious and I love that they have dog treats next to the walk up window for the pups. When the patio is open in the warmer months, it’s a nice place to sit and enjoy if you have the time.
