  • Unsafe living conditions

We feel as though they let us move into a property without insuring it was safe for tenants. Months of concerns for our health in extreme heath was ignored by the company. Our promised prorated rent was withheld for months while our questions were ignored. We did not experience professionalism from them, in fact we were given the wrong set of keys during move in. Our back door was rotting and falling apart when we moved in. The insulation was insufficient to keep the house below 80 even at night. This affected our mental and physical health as well as the health of our animals. They took no accountability and I felt like I had to fight to have our serious concerns addressed.

  • Money-Driven Company

We had a very frustrating experience with Draper Realty, especially during move-out. We moved out more than two months before our lease ended, but still paid rent through the end of the lease. Before the move-out inspection, we continued maintaining the property, including mowing the lawn and trimming trees/branches. Draper scheduled the inspection for May 27, before our lease ended on May 31, and we were told in the tenant portal that this was to give us a few days to correct any issues found. However, we were not notified of any issues after the inspection, and Draper did not share the inspection report or charges with us until July 3. Draper deducted $566.50 from our deposit, including $287.50 for landscaping, even though the inspection report listed the lawn as “Good, Clean.” They also charged us $192 for blinds after two old, fragile blind slats broke during the lease, even though we had previously reported the issue. During our tenancy, we also experienced poor communication about maintenance, including a maintenance person entering the house without advance notice to us. Based on our experience, I strongly recommend future tenants document everything, take detailed photos, keep communication in writing, and carefully review all move-out charges.

  • No accountability and poor workmanship

Disclaimer: Before posting this review, I gave Firefly Electric a fair opportunity to correct the issues described below. Prospective customers should be aware that hiring Firefly Electric may expose them to significant financial and workmanship risks based on my experience. 1. Pricing Practices I initially met with the owner, Casey McDermott, at the job site, and we agreed to a firm cap of $1,000, regardless of any unforeseen complications. After the work was completed, I was told the job “took longer than expected,” and I was presented with a bill for $1,340—well above the agreed limit. After discussion, I ultimately paid $1,200 in cash, which was still at least $200 more than our agreed cap. I agreed to this only as a compromise, hoping to maintain a professional relationship and avoid escalation. However, this experience left me concerned about the reliability of quoted pricing. 2. Work Quality and Reliability Within hours of the work being completed, the breaker installed by Firefly Electric began repeatedly tripping. It will remain on for a short period, then shut down the entire circuit again, making it effectively unusable. Resetting it requires waiting 8–10 hours, which is highly disruptive. I was told there may have been “incorrect wiring,” yet this issue was not resolved during the job. Notably, the circuit was functioning properly before Firefly’s work. Despite this, I was later asked to pay additional money to fix the very problem that arose immediately after their service. Final Assessment I genuinely wanted to leave a positive review, but my experience raises serious concerns about both pricing integrity and workmanship accountability. When an agreed price is exceeded without consent, and newly installed work fails shortly after completion—without being corrected—it undermines trust. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Firefly Electric. Proceed with caution.

  • Honda Girl

I have had my Honda Girl for 25years and Johntay took excellent care of my honda, putting on new struts, a cat converter and two 02 cylinders that were stolen off of the car in 2023. The price and finished repairs are excellent. Very kid friendly which is great for parents and grand-parents** I will definity be using them for any future repairs.

  • Just a heads up

I’m extremely disappointed with the experience I had at this shop. After initially speaking highly of the business, I now feel completely misled. The quality of work done on my car was poor, and when I brought it to the owner’s attention, he suggested I take my review down so they could “rework” the job. Let me be clear: I was only offered a rework on the condition that I remove my honest review — which is unacceptable and unprofessional. The owner also tried to blame my driving habits for the failure of the neon lights — even though those same lights have been on my car for over three years without a single issue. He later backpedaled on that claim but still refused to take responsibility or rework the job unless I stayed silent. Based on other reviews, I fully expect the owner to respond to this by pretending he offered to fix the issue — but again, the truth is that the offer was conditional on me removing my review. That is not real customer service. That is damage control. This seems to be a pattern: dismiss the customer, shift the blame, and avoid accountability. They’re quick to take your money but don’t stand by their work. I regret ever recommending this place and will be warning others. As someone active in OKC car community groups with over 20,000 members, I’ll be letting others know to avoid this shop. Businesses should earn good reviews through honest work and respect for their customers — not manipulation and excuses

  • Hassan is Literally a Life Saver!

I was at Sooner Urgent Care yesterday! Hassan, in his thoroughly detailed exam of me, found something that was critical and sent me packing directly to the Norman Regional ER. When you go there (and you should), tell him I said “Thank you, sir!” Update: This is another new reason to go to Sooner Urgent Care: Hassan literally just contacted me by phone like RIGHT NOW, while I was writing this post, to see how I was doing! That is absolutely why Sooner Urgent Care is my new go to for immediate healthcare!!

  • Buyer Beware! Look Elsewhere

I strongly advise against using Aquatic Design Pools. Our experience with them was frustrating from start to finish, and the quality of their work was extremely poor. We hired them to renovate our pool, but the final result was disappointing. Despite agreeing to replace our pool light, they were resistant to making it right and ultimately chose not to do it at all. The bottom of the pool is discolored and excessively rough, causing cuts on our feet. Additionally, the expensive equipment they installed has been unreliable—the sand filter burst within a year and remains unusable, with no assistance from them in resolving the issue. Customer service has been equally frustrating. They are difficult to reach, unresponsive, and getting a technician out has been nearly impossible. At this point, our pool is not even usable. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

  • Great Service

Had 2 leaking faucets and Tito and his partner came and took care to fix not only the leaking but I had them do some additional work. They were hard working and polite. Finished and left everything clean and working perfectly. Thanks much.
