Woodburn Golf Club

I took my 2 children (6 & 4) and we had an absolute blast playing this course. There were 6 other groups there and all of them were very understanding of the situation. And never once made us feel unwelcome or slow. It was a great way to spend the day with my family. Would highly recommend it for the price. Perfect for beginners and children. The volunteers and grounds crew were extremely nice, and told the history of the place to my kids, and they loved that as well.

I’m hesitant to give this spot a review just because I want to keep it a secret haha. Come for the experience and not quality of the course. Think of it as a way to work on your short game, mid game, and rough game (because basically everywhere could be considered rough). Played it in under an hour with 4 clubs on my back. Excellent place to bring a novice- will absolutely be taking my daughter here when she’s old enough to learn.

Been golfing here since I was a kid. It's a flat course with no hazards and sand greens. Open to the public and only $10 to play a round of 9 holes. They do not have tee times, only walkthroughs. Payment is made with cash or venmo and you sign in at a little booth outside the clubhouse. All on the honor system. Fairways are pretty decent and maintained. You have to sweep your own greens when done with a hole. However, the sweeps are gone for the time being with COVID-19.
