Wise Guys Pizza

I picked up a large stuffed pizza with extra pepperoni, extra cheese, black olives, and garlic today. It's spectacular. Thank you to the gentleman that made my pizza, it's delicious. You really did give it your all, and the twists in the crust looked great!

I had issues with Wise Guys back in the day with the old owner. But things have gotten so much better. Tonight the guy who took my order, made my pie, and checked me out was so chill and polite and really cared about making sure I got my money's worth. The results were great, I almost ate the whole large myself in one sitting (don't tell my doctor).

Carry Out or Delivery Only (no dining room). Since they advertise that they are Chicago style pizza, I tried a large deep dish with pepperoni and bacon bits as well as an order of cinnamon sticks. I feel like it was a really good value (a lot of food for a good price) and that the food was really good. I didn't want to give it 5 stars because I've had deep dish pizza in Chicago and it wasn't quite that, but I would recommend giving them a try. This is the closest thing that I have found in Columbia MO to a good Chicago Deep dish. They also have another style that sounded good but I haven't tried yet where they put crust on top and bottom (like a pie). And have cheese and toppings inside and some on top. The description of it sounded like so much food and sounded a bit intimidating over the phone, so I stuck with the Chicago style. The cinnamon sticks were just okay. They were on pizza crust and were dense and dry. The cinnamon was maybe baked on, because it didn't seem like there was any butter or other oil holding it on. I thought they were fine and you get a lot of sticks for a good price. But next time I probably won't order a large (I was feeding 4 people and we only ate about half of the sticks).
